Pete is reputed to have worked for the Richardson Gang in South London in the 60s, and Bas is a piano teacher, whose family used to run bare knuckle tournaments. They write their own lyrics, with their grandkids giving them hints on the latest slang. They have been around a while now... as for best rappers in UK..not really, but they are up there.

Bas wasn't affiliated but was a part of his own bareknuckle fighting ring and eventually got booted out of school for knocking his teacher out. They were on an episode of before they were famous that goes into decent detail about their history.

They didn’t just go after Fredo and Bugzy here - it’s quite difficult to hear because a couple of words were bleeped out, but they said something like: ‘…I ain’t Fredo, don’t wear tight little shirts like Bugzy, little boy Aitch don’t want to get maced, Stormzy’s mug get smashed in the face, JK still didn’t send his verse, Skepta get left in a casket case’! 😂 Bugzy’s response was actually really funny, it’s only a few seconds of him watching the video and laughing, but if I find the link, I’ll drop it in below.

I've been on them since 2020 when I first heard them on there track "do one" as a Bboy I couldnt deny what my ears had heard in depth bars trampling 95% of every rapper in the US. For the last three years quietly Pete and bas and only a handful of rappers hold my attention at this age. I loved and respect your energy during the reaction. My favs are "back to the old estate" and "Sindhu sesh" no disrespect to " Mr world wide" or "golf" cause in all honesty I've not heard shit but gold on all there releases. "Southern Bboy respectfully since 83 repping Boulevard homes project's and Hip Hop nicely to the present"

You are correct in saying that people don't really take them seriously, I guess they just can't get past the age factor, which is just so damn narrow minded.
