The rhombus by Wateroo Village in Jersey. I grew up in Stillwater. Those two Waterloo shows were really good ones. Trey mentioned it at show.

Awesome interview! Crazy to hear he wasn’t happy with those early albums, they are masterful! Growing up I completely adored each one so deeply and still can listen through occasionally. It’s hard to hear that they were kind of throwaways that Trey couldn’t stand relistening too.

I am so excited to hear this! My first show was 2/11/93 and the only time I met a band member and it was Trey!

I thought this was fantastic. Yes, he did tend to cut Trey off a bit but, it just goes to show how laid back Trey is. It had the feel of a casual conversation and sounded like Bob was legitimately interested and was without judgement. It always amazes me how down-to-earth Trey is, and humble. Another thing that stuck out was just how much different the music scene was back then. The interviewer talked about going to the library to find information on Phish. Can you imagine?

Trey sounds the same now in 2023 as he did in 93 interview. His singing voice is different tho but voice remands the same. Just less chimpmonky as early 90's tapes. i feel like i traveled thru time to make this comment.

Phish is magical, this is a special date for me as well. I stuck out the shittiest interviewer in existence for the few uninterrupted bits from Trey. Cheers.

I was a 6 year old kid growing up roughly 3 miles from where he was being interviewed (Benton Convention Center) during this.

Had backstage passes to Warren Haynes christmas jam in 2005. Serialpod played that year (trey, mike, and billy kreutzmann). Chatted with trey and mike for a bit backstage. Trey was a super nice guy!
