I just bought these based on your glowing review. I've been searching for a great pair of bookshelf speakers for my desktop PC (replacing Klipsch Promedia 2.1). I'm looking forward to hearing them. BTW... I think you were referring to the Library at Alexandria in Egypt. UPDATE: I just got them today (along with a Klipsch 120 subwoofer). They sound awesome! The clarity, soundstage, and just that extra little bit of subwoofer oomph really sets these off. I'm so glad I watched your video on these! Thank you!

I'm done with IEMs. Get the BLON 03 if you like a bass heavy but boringly neutral presentation or the T2s if you like impossibly open sounding IEMs. Tin T2 (not pro) are still my favourite IEMs and cost almost nothing. Not to mention that everything you could gain in sound quality by going more expensive aside from a tonality that might suit your personal taste more are percentiles of a percent. Everything aside from those just equates to throwing your money away.
@LISTEDGames
@LISTEDGames 3 жыл бұрын
@@Mat-hr1dg I have the blons, they're decent but not amazing, at least for their price they do an ok job, and I didn't like the t2, and I would like to disagree, there's so much more better iems like starfields, blessing 2, p1, etc that do very different things for different moods so I wouldnt say its a waste of money but that's just my opinion.

Hi Zeos! I have a bit of a niche question for you. I'm an opera singer, and I'm having a hard time finding affordable speakers (250 or less/pair) that get loud enough to serve as my accompaniment with all the remote performing I'm doing right now (I am loud as hell). Sound quality is not the most important thing, as long as it's passable. Any idea where I can get the most blast for my buck?? I saw your old review on the BIC fh65s, but I wasn't sure if you had something better in mind. Thanks! I love watching your content, happy for you with your new house!

@Lagunakid24 thanks for the reply! I actually have a set of Eris fives at home, they don't generate nearly enough SPL for my singing. when I say loud, I mean I can be heard over a 60 piece orchestra without a microphone-loud.... I've kind of figured out that I should probably just bump up my budget a little bit and get a small PA speaker. Looking at JBL IRX line right now.

@@Richbroth I know there's a way you can do it but it would need an amp and extra wiring etc wouldn't it, for me I just like the simplicity of two speakers and nothing else, that's the reason I bought these. There goes another morning lusting after speakers...oh well, I probably won't buy these anyway. Happy with what I have. That said, I have the Triangle Zetas which are absolutely a beautiful sounding budget speaker by Triangle. Hooked up to a class D Aiyima amp and dac does what this does for under $350. But, they're no longer available. They use a Titanium tweeter but aren't harsh for me. Going to a soft dome probably makes this even smoother. If the price were under $500 with RCA and XLR inputs, a sub out and if they lose the internal dac they'd interest me more. To many dacs with decent pre abilities to care about an internal dac in powered speakers particularly if they add to the cost.

The Soncoz uses 2 ES9038Q2M chips which have their own internal power supplies while the SMSL uses one ES9038 flagship dac. Which would be the better option or they they so close that features are the deciding factor? The most important thing aside from SQ is which provides a more 3D presentation (depth, instrument separation and space, width all adds to that) using external speakers? Any thoughts appreciated.

These or the br02 with a nad d3045 for nearfield and Fairfield with a wall fairly close?

These. Br03 are good but entry level. This is Triangle's mid range meaning you're getting a step up in drivers.

I don't actually know what they are throwing down. Might be lower since the bass from the speakers seems to stay mostly intact.

@@ZReviews damn you love the M3s so the Triangles must kick so much ass. I googled the “abyss” blue color and it’s quite nice. It's almost slate blue.. classy conservative yet different than standard white/gray/black.
