Why is Carl even with Yaya? They have nothing in common They don't share the same beliefs or ideologies. Their relationship is all business? The power dynamics in the relationship is interesting because there is no equality in the relationship besides the fact that Carl has to foot the bill all the time. Carl seems to do things for her to appease her. He may call her out on her behavior, but he still seems to be under her spell & allows himself to be used by her.
