All the reactors are great…but I really LOVE Abdul Aziz. His wisdom and gentle nature remind me so much of my own grandfather…and I’m from Kentucky, USA. I’ve said this before…but I’m wondering…is it just me…or do others feel this way as well?

I love what Mashoque said….”Who could blame anyone for falling in love with such a beautiful woman?”…we all all had a crush on Stevie Nicks back in the day. I’m 52 now…I was just a kid back then but even I thought she was gorgeous.
@joeday4293

I'm 52 as well. I would have been a little kid in Alabama when this song came out, with a teenage uncle only a little more than a decade older than me. He sculpted many of my musical tastes early on - I lost him last year. Anyway, I said that to say this: once he told me that he would crawl to California for a date with Stevie Nicks. That's double the distance from Karachi to Lahore. 😍

50s here, too, and reading your comments, I had to add one, lol I lived in Scottsdale AZ in the 80s, and my stereotypical "rich kid" bf at the time was obsessed with her & I remember even saying, "damn, she'd make ME switch teams for a night too, but you are next level obsessed!!"😂 He says, "Oh, wait til you meet my dad!" Enter the home & see dad had a shrine to her: photos, album covers, more photos & dead center was a VERY large blow up of a chest xray of hers. His dad & she shared a dr & why I mentioned rich kid, I guess daddy paid the doc plenty to get a copy of her xray & he had it blown up, with backlighting and shit! Total legend😂😂

It's very perceptive of them to recognize the kind of relationships on stage: "they aren't frank with each other" "they don't even want to look at each other" "this is just like they are having a job at similar place" "their faces tell everything so clearly". Abdul is very wise man.

Every time I come to see a reaction, it is Abdul who raises my spirits with his wisdom. Everyone has a lovely appreciation for music. But Abdul has lived a life that you can see, has shown him great wisdom, and he is taking the time to learn from them. I think that is why he gives the best reviews because, truth has no language barrier and known nationality

I'm glad to see the 1997 "The Dance" concert getting some coverage; IMO, if one of their songs is in this concert, then this concert is the best released version of that song. The Stevie/Lindsey relationship shows itself several times in the concert though not so much during _The Chain_ ; they sing a duet together _Landslide_ where you can feel the fondness between them and it feels like a reparation of sorts, though Stevie also does her song _Silver Springs_ which is about her ending her relationship with Lindsey in the 1970s, and she really emphasizes the lyrics "My voice will haunt you/you'll never get away from the sound/of the woman that loves you". Lindsey Buckingham is widely regarded as one of the best rock guitarists of all time.

I love Fleetwood Mac - literal legends. I loved that they could also sense something beneath the song between the singers. They've been through a lot of trauma, stress, broken relationships and that's there - the strain but they still perform like this. This type of music is really in a different tier altogether - it transcends. Thank you for your words and thoughts. Much love!

I think it's important to remember that Rumours (1977) was 19 yrs ago, when this performance occurred, if I am recalling correctly? This was the reunion concert that every fan had dreamed about but doubted would ever happen. I agree that this was an amazing concert and everyone performed at a high level. The greatness in the songs and trials and tribulations that created them, is what people experience, whether they are aware of it or not.

You know by the time this was recorded (1997), Stevie and Lindsey were over the break-up from 20 years prior... they both just really understood that playing up the rift got the audience even more into the performance. "The Dance" shows them staring daggers at each other one moment, then tenderly sharing loving glances in another moment... they were playing to the audience and the cameras to add to the drama and intrigue.

“The Dance” concert was the second time the “Rumours” lineup had played together since the Tango In The Night tour back in 1987 (Bill Clinton’s inauguration was the first). I think everything they did on that stage during the taping for MTV was real; they’ve played up that act ever since then. Shame that Stevie ruined it all back in 2018.

What you are showing them is indeed a live version. I believe it came in the early 2000s or late 90s. It was a reunion concert they hadn't performed together as a group for decades Lindsey Buckingham the lead guitarist and Stevie Nicks the lead singer add broken up a very very long time ago. You see the bass player John McVie and his ex-wife who plays the keyboards and sings Harmony, or supporting singer. When this album came out, all of them were breaking up. Stevie and Lindsay were breaking up as were the mcvee's marriage. After all of this, when they finally broke up as a band, Stevie had an extremely successful solo career for those of us who were raised on this band, it was a really big deal to see them reunite for this specific concert you're watching right now. I know you've got some drummers in your group so another one I think they will love is tusk. They did it at this very concert your viewing right now. Should be easy to find. And if he thought Stevie Nicks was beautiful there he should have seen her when she was young she was drop dead gorgeous back then. I'm so glad you chose to show them this music. If you guys loved the chain, you will absolutely adore landslide Landslide is one of my favorite songs from them. My daughter and I dance to it at her wedding. It was our mother-daughter dance. It is about Stevie Nicks dad
