Yeah he was my least favorite for a while. Our stuff does taste different but he hated everything! I do like some of the food choices from the middle eastern part of the world, definitely not all, but some of it is very tasty. I don't expect him to like everything, but he seems to like a lot now. His humor is shining through much better now.

Little fun fact about ring pops. A food engineer wanted his daughter to stop sucking her thumb so he helped come up with the ring pop for her to suck instead. Many adults at the company said it was brilliant and the company started to make the candy to help kids stop the thumb sucking problem that toddlers tend to have.

This was the episode which mustafa should have flamed the most. Everything is super processed here. But I'm guessing he knew this would be seen by the kids who's guardian sent them, so he went super nice today. If I'm right then I have to say he is way smarter than I presumed. If not then his palate is getting confused.

Probably also keeping in mind that the food was pretty much aimed AT kids as well. Kids are all about sweet, salty junk, almost universally. It's the grownups who have to worry about stuff being healthy and not as processed. Speaking in regards to what he knows kids would like, he's definitely on the ball. He's probably going to sneak those snacks back for his grandkids with a big grin on his face.

14:04- The translation of what Mehboob said is accurate(ish). The more literal translation is, "if you study, you will become a nawab." A nawab is a type of royalty. I think he was trying to be a bit more poetic. Reactistan just translated it in a way that would make sense to everyone.

Isn't it wonderful to see how things like popcorn develop in different areas and people can connect over things like these? It absolutely made my day to see the childlike joy everyone was displaying. Ismail loving the ring pop and having the biggest grin on his face, Manzoor saying that he will take the candies for his daughter was absolutely adorable, Mustafa always having his scissors with him and 'doing the most beating', Ameeta finally finding her level of spice (!!), Naseeba just being a precious gem in general and Mehboob being the king of spice... We need a Mustafa interview, I think. He has seen the most wild shit in his life and is absolutely just a living legend. Love everyone else here too though! Mustafa is just the wise elder who has the stories and the knowledge and experience of 10 regular people, and it would be awesome to learn more about his life

The ladies looked particularly radiant today. When I was in 4h grade there was a fad for mixing red koolaid powder with sugar in a small plastic baggie and eating that with one finger and rubbing it on your lips. You got stained bright red. It could be very sour if you put in less sugar.

These were great candy ideas, especially the Takis and the powdered donuts! (2 of my favorites lol) and Ring pops are always a hit! They had me smiling through the whole video 🤗 I loved Naseeba’s stories about her Father! 🥰💝 He sounds like a wise man and it shows in her! She is an awesome lady, they all are on here and so beautiful!! 🤩 This was fun and now I want candy 😅

be prepared for expensive shipping. shipping can easily be twice or three times what the costs of the items are. also make sure the snacks are halal no kosher is not halal.

@@TheSourceSlantedRoom also keep in mind they have to pay customs duties. sometimes the carrier makes the entity receiving the package pay 100% of the item cost and you cannot pay for it ahead of time unless you do say a donation on their patreon. other times it is 50% percent. if they are lucky they will pay 25 or less% of the item cost. very very expensive not only for the shipper but the receiver for international shipped goods.

He doesn’t like mixed foods he doesn’t trust that there isn’t something hidden in the food. He likes Whole Foods he doesn’t trust minced meat dishes or pies unless he has seen it being made in front of him.
