That's a useful spectrum! They really are at the ends - RM is brilliant and breaks everything he touches and JK can mimic anything he sees and has said so many times that he's not good at studying. They envy and respect each other's strengths, too. I'm having fun placing them all on this scale. I think Jimin is our center point. I really like all their different strengths and how they complement each other. 💜

@@evantesseract737 yah they're such opposites and each admire each other's strengths so much :') yea i can see jimin prolly being in the middle too~ sidenote about 'studying' -- i find that the traditional approach to 'studying' in modern society is catered mainly for selected types of jobs/tasks only and the approach is too narrowly focused on one type of intelligence/learning method... if we think of 'studying' as simply 'learning' in general, then JK learns or studies just as well as RM, just via different methods (kinesthetic/visual vs writing/reading) and excels at subjects that tend to be sadly deemed less 'important' in the school system (e.g. design, art, athletics / body smarts, music, dance, making, possibly nature/environmental subjects). ironically, these are areas that become super important and essential in industries and the working world. like yoongi rightly told jungkook in their festa bangtan attic video, these days watching videos is also a form of studying and there's no one right way to study. (tbh, these days it's true most students study or learn things through videos compared to books). JK likely learns a lot better through highly visual / motion-based ways or learns by doing and using his body, or thru more experiential methods. he would probably love makerspaces! unlike the traditional way of absorbing information from a book or writing notes in the form of words which we've come to associate as more 'academic'. i feel like the education system needs to stop being so biased towards one type of learning method and intelligence only -- it's sad that people end up thinking they're 'not as good as studying' as a result of such a flawed system. I also think Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences is useful to think about here! RM excels at verbal-linguistic, and logical-mathematical, amongst others -- whereas JK excels at visual-spatial and bodily-kinesthetic, amongst other intelligences! :)

@@Garnishes absolutely agree with you about how people learn! And it breaks my heart that Jungkook thought he wasn't intelligent because his intelligence doesn't show well on a written test. I was so grateful to Yoongi... Who I think has said he didn't do well in school, but who is clearly brilliant. Jin has said before that he's not the brightest, and I always want to just shake the Korean education system for making these men think there's anything wrong with them. Ultimately there are more important things than being smart - but also, they're all plenty smart!

I have adhd and I always knew that jungkook isn't neurotypical at all cause I relate to him a little too much. BTW, yoongi was the reason I discovered that I have adhd, I'm really thankful to him

@@nadamadani9137 honestly same, i personally don’t believe he’s neurotypical either. and that’s awesome!!! a lot of people either don’t know yoongi has literally said he has adhd or they seem to think it was just a “joke” for some reason, which is frustrating. but he has a lot of adhd traits and it’s so cool that he helped you realize you had it too!!

So he was talking about himself when he said he had adhd even if he was joking (joking as using adhd as an exuce to not focus, not joking about having it) Sorry if that was confusing

I know all 4 of the oldest were involved in helping raise him, but I can't help thinking that RM's moral compass and Jin's nurturing would be a solid foundation for any kid.
