Dragon Nikana isn't a variant of Nikana, despite requiring one to craft it. It uses different Rivens, and IIRC there might be augments or something not shared between them. Nikana Prime IS a variant of classic Nikana.

Nikana gets the same dispo as Nikana Prime. The Dragon Nikana counts as a seperate weapon not as a variant it has own riven mods aswell.

I'm not 100% certain of this, but the Falcor feels like it has a way stronger homing ability than the other glaives. I put Rebound and gas damage on it, it just kinda floats off and fumigates rooms I can't even see yet.

Twin Krokhur stat swapping actually makes sense on a physiology level. It would be a ton harder to strike precisely with two swords than it would be with one, while it would be a ton easier to just cut the shit out of something with the extra blade.

The redeemer prime is my absolute favorite and I love the fact with a basic build no forma only needing a blueberry gets 100% status

Jaw sword is an amazing stat stick - 5 disposition, +100% dmg and healing and mobility buff mod is nothing to scoff at.

I have a riven that lets me to one-shot level 100 corrupted heavy gunners with the Anku on execution. Now the weapon is still meh... But when it's using the candy cane skin everything else becomes obsolete.

fun fact, when wolf of saturn six was still new-ish i used the halikar to disarm him and it allowed me to pick up a (though very glitched and almost nonfunctional) separate one of his hammers, multiple times over

Oh and btw in newish to warframe, i recently unlocked the broken war, and i can confirm that everyone uses the heat swords at a lower lvl, BECAUSE FIRE. And when i found out that they didnt do fire damage i slapped a fire mod on there, maxed it, and then kept using the heat sword. Because the mod has fire particles and now does fire damage. WHAT MORE COULD I WANT FROM A SWORD!!

They could probably make a exalted weapon that shapeshifts between a greatsword (or dual blade sword like maul's lightsaber) and dual swords during combos, the reason I say exalted weapon specifically is because if its a normal one then you can give it stance mods which would defeat its purpose.

Also the Tonbo looks like a giant can opener. Just sayin :/

Rakta dark dagger is also great on hildryn. A massive status build while keeping the radiation damage high. Every hit (after the first) charges hildryn's shields. Even on infested.

My biggest hope for Melee 3.0 is that it makes more melees notable somehow. Better power attacks, or innate stance alterations, channeling mechanic changes, special abilities, SOMETHING. There's a lot of melee weapons and a lot of them just aren't worth noting at all! Also: What glaive would you recommend for someone who doesn't really put in enough time to get the prime those times it emerges from the vault?

I remember back when Tyl Regor hadn't become space dad yet and was just some dude that dropped Ash, I used the Kestral to Yeet his ass into the teleport pits to instantly kill him
