If anyone deserves a tribute it’s Luther Vandross, the problem is that there aren’t any singers whose voice is as good as his! I had to fast forward Johnny Gill he was trying too hard. Then the Great Man comes on and it was just effortless. He’s still sorely missed. RIP Mr Vandross

32 yrs ago I lost my closest brother. He would sing ALL Luther vandross songs. They both live on and I can imagine my brother singing to Jesus and all my family that went to see God. Luther's voice brings tears and joy everytime I listen to him. He was my number one. God love you both

As a 73 yr old white British man i lived for 60's/70's Black music, compared to the likes of Luther todays so called music is crap, I am proud to have been young in the era of Motown, Stax, Atlantic label tunes and they will live forever.

I had the pleasure of seeing Luther in concert and the man was just pure perfection live. I sat in my seat and just hearing his voice and songs went through so many emotions in that hour and a half. I will never forget that experience for the rest of my life!!! Thank You Luther. RIP👑❤

I've been to countless concerts, seen many of the greats live, and saw Luther from his 1st tour on.. If I had one wish, it would be to take a friend of mine who never saw him live, to one of his concerts. There simply was nothing like them. It was more than a concert. It was a supernatural experience everytime...

One of those people, black or white, who made me glad i am alive. I have loved his voice since the 80's with CHANGE. His music, while i was growing up, made me feel happy. His influence on me and many others has been gigantic. Would have liked him to live on forever, a real gentleman. His out of this world performance in a concert in the Netherlands made me cry. I am so glad to have had him continuously in my life and his legacy will be there forever.
