Here is raw video footage from the beginning of the storm (Friday night), during the height of the storm (Saturday), and the aftermath (Sunday morning). Storm photos and radar imagery follow the video footage. I wanted to include more weather model analyses but I was having trouble with the video editing software. The analysis in my [previous videos to try and forecast the storm should suffice. Consider this a supplement to those videos.
The raw footage and photos were taken in and around my grandmother's trailer park in Calverton, New York where about 23.0" of snow was reported. An important note to me about my forecast was that I predicted 18-24" for ALL of Suffolk County on Long Island, instead of just eastern Suffolk, and actually that prediction verified for most of the county. Islip, which is in western Suffolk, reported a total of 23.2" and Orient Point out east reported 25.0". My forecast of 12-18" for Nassau County verified nicely too, as well as 6-12" for NYC. The only place I was certainly underdone was coastal New Jersey where I had 6-12", but there were widespread totals in the 15-19" range. Finally, most of Eastern New England did indeed receive 18-24", with some places topping 30". So the forecast verified there as well.
