They got it spot on with the Michael Myers figure in this line, but this one does miss the mark.

That Candyman Figure looked Terrifyingly Awesome! I remember renting the Candyman: Farwell to the Flesh (1995) Film, from Hollywood Video I believe. I was a Young Adult during that time. If you called his name 5 times from the Mirror!? Candyman unexpectedly would appeared instantly and taken anyone's life, without Hesitation, with his Gruesome Hook Hand. I like some of the other figures in this line, but this one kind of looks like a dog's chew toy. The head sculpt doesn't look that much like Tony Todd, the body proportions make him look really narrow and unimposing, and the paint on it isn't especially well done. It's just kind of a big lump that looks vaguely like Candyman.

His face looks too cartoony, and more like a Toony Terror version of Candyman. I will gladly stick with my Movie Maniacs Candyman from years past as my definitive figure version. Also what is up with the 8” scale? So disappointing that the line doesn’t scale with the Necas and Movie Maniacs figures.

I think that this figure looks nothing like Tony Todd as opposed to the Neca figures which are available.

It kind of looks like Tony Todd but I wouldn't have expected it to look exactly like him. Chances are they would have had to make a deal with Tony to use his likeness for the figure if they wanted to go all out with the sculpt. Likely causing the budget for the figure to jump causing a price increase for us. I'd like to see someone make a custom head using the old McFarlane Movie Maniacs head as a base. Because that sculpt is even closer to Tony's mug.

The Willy Wonka song goes "The Candyman can", well this Candyman can't. Looks nothing like Tony Todd, the paint is awful, hook is too big, and it's so meh. Looks like Eddie Murphy smirking, or Djimon Hounsou.

Yeah came here to comment that this headsculpt is not great in terms of the likeness to Tony Todd. Now, it might pass as a start to a Duane Jones “Ben” figure for Night of the Living Dead though!
