I’m in no way a professional but I’m assuming it’s going to be all about the color that is chosen. I think if the right 3 shades of brown/sienna paints are used it can kind of give the illusion of dark skin even with very little washes of paint. Idk if this makes sense lol I would use oranges, reds and browns instead of tan colors

@Marcus Webster in my opinion theyre just harder to color for me when i did it they looked more ashy than having their vibrant dark color

I like how you show the full process since some artists skip a lot of important things you need to do like how to smudge the colors or how to mix different colors in the canvas. Thank you!❤️❤️

I feel like he shows us that art is made beautiful by careless (I use this with good intention) strokes and ways like art isn't supposed to be mechanical--it should be human.

I always get discouraged when the colours smudge where you don’t want them to. Same thing happened when you coloured the hair. Thank you so much! It really helped me, I can save my drawings now lol. Thank you!
