I will show you step by step how to factory reset (also called hard reset) your Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2022). It's easy and it can be done in only a few minutes. This is useful if you have problems with your galaxy tab or if you want to sell it. This will also erase your sd card.

My tablet is not on the screen but on the initial start up menu and it didn't work right so I quit and now I am stuck. I don't want to continue with setup because I was using quick start and now my android phone plus tablet are both messed up

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

5 trys, it doesn't do anything but now it is on welcome and I don't want welcome because quick start screwed up both tablet and android phone. It wants me to agree to send diagnosis to Samsung AND I HAVE ALREADY AGREED and all it did was continue to screw up android phone and the tablet

I tried and it failed also several times. The problem is you shouldn't continue holding the power button once the screen goes black. then continue with the rest of his instructions.
