Well, his portrayal wasn't accurate. The Land Crawler was basically an agricultural tractor that, would you believe it, Arkhan Land also found. And some modified versions were pressed into service here and there.

I totally agree with Nilesy that an Oddworld Slig really fits in the Warhammer universe but I have no fucking clue why it was built with diamond ore for the gun, missing the iconic eye mask with the lenses / visor and made pale white instead of green

Not gonna lie, I feel like the guesses were crazier and the builds got crazier when there wasn’t a theme. Because now people can use the theme to sus out what they’re looking at and I think they should end with a final guess to truly see how far away they ended up from original prompt

i just realized that the tyran in tyranids might be a reference to tyrannosaurus, since the tyranids are often said to look like alien dino bugs, and nids usually means bugs in sci fi, so tyran nids could literally mean dino bug.

Honestly i can agree with what Ben said. Most of the time with these builds you kinda half-ass it but when the topic is something you're a fan of; you want to do it properly. Currently i';m building the Megazord in Minceraft on my PS3 and i want to do it right.

I really wanted someone to make primark for ultramarines, so it was all blue armours on the racks but with cheap snazzy things like rick and morty ultramarine armour, scooby doo armour, nightmare before xmas armour. (seen all those in primark cheap) That'd be hilarious but nobody probabyl thinking primark the shop.

It's funny he brought up the Grey Knights as an example when they're also super hated because both the Ultramarines and Grey Knights are disliked for being Matt Ward's special boys who could do no wrong and were "the best of the best!!" and everyone else wanted to be them Ben's assessment its because everyone hates the normie marines and wants their special hipster marines is off, people just prefer it when their chapter can actually take Ls because they aren't given (out of universe) god protection personally I think choosing a chapter is a mistake to begin with, Homebrew is the only way to have your own fun What's funny about the Ultramarines thing was that apparently in old lore the only reason they were so dominant post Horus Heresy was that they were basically sent somewhere too far out of the way to actually be involved so that afterwards they were the only unscathed Space Marine Legion with the Ultramarines thing being a joke on them actually not being special (Ultramarine is the colour they're painted) and just being in a lucky position. But I guess Arkhan Land syndrome took over and "oh Ultra Marines must mean they're the best!"

I remember back when I was a kid, a local Games Workshop in a mall in my town introduced me to 40k, and I ended up doing some demo games with employees (who in hindsight probably let me win) with Battle For Macragge, and I ended up buying a box of it, taking it home, and never actually doing anything with it because I didn't know anyone else interested in the game. Oops! Still, to this day, 40k in my mind is always Space Marines vs Tyranids because of that set. Anyone else get introduced with that set?

My favorite Warhammer 40K thing is something from the Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy RPGs, and that is the Perils of the Warp. If you roll doubles or a 9 on a psychic power roll, depending on which of those two games you're playing, you trigger a psychic Phenomena roll of chaos. If you critically fail that, you get to play in the big leagues of campaign derailment called Perils of the Warp, with all sorts of chaotic possibilities that may or may not destroy the fabric of reality.

All of my Warhammer knowledge: The Orcs can make things happen if they believe that's how something works. That main dude (Space Marine?) they put on all the adverts has the exact same face as Toa Tahu. The villains from the last season of Ninjago were apparently based on it but I haven't seen it yet. Blood for the Blood God? Was that a Warhammer quote?

When detailing Minecraft Cars/Vehicles ITEM FRAMES are your friend. Glowstone in Item Frames makes much better headlights and they aren't bad for hubcaps either.
