Well, I truly love underdogs and this one seemed like it was passed over. I had a moog one and it didn't scratch the itch because of the variable wave shapes and something was strange about the gain staging. I Love combining the wave shapes. And I love the way Sequential synths hit the filter with drive and feedback. I have a studio Electronics Se1, which is probably my favorite mono and This really feels like the poly version of that. So I felt like Taking a chance and it's an unreal machine. I'm Strongly Considering buying the desktop also to chain. A Twelve Voice Trigon would be unreal. I think every synth you mentioned is a complete winner and equally as wonderful. I just wanted to take a chance and I connect very with it. I think this answers your question.

@@villavide I cannot speak to the minitaur but I think it can get close. Especially when you combine the saw and Triangle and get that shark tooth wave. There is no doubt it will be different in someways, there is no avoiding that from company to company. But it does all the things I love in one box. I do wish it had one more LFO. Then it would be perfect. That being said U could run and lfo Via midi cc. There are boxes like the LFE. That work with Trigon. So many amazing options out there. I would say this. I would keep my minitaur and buy a trigon.
