My 4th short movie. It is a tiny underwater story of tiny creature when there was no singing of birds or insects on the land.

I did enjoy this. I watched it with my daughter. This week I gave her a trilobite fossil which I had recovered from the sedimentary rock when I was a kid. The area was once part of an inland sea during the Cambrian epoch. There was a creek gully where the whole slope was consisting of rocks which contained trilobites. All one had to do was find a rock and split it open.

When I was a kid, my father gave me a fossile of trilobite. I was really excited and wanted to keep them in a real aquarium but it was an unfeasible dream. It is a movie which has a passion of my childhood. I am making these movie especially for kids, wondering she enjoyed it. Please say hello to your lovely daughter. Thanks for your comment.

The fossil trilobite I found was of the species Xistruda, aged about 500 million years. Quite amazing to hold something that old in the hand. The area of origin is today's outback Australia. But back then it was the supercontinent Gondwana. Your animations are skilfully achieved, and I wish you all the best with your future endeavours. Thank you for producing them for public enjoyment.

Wayne Kerr Thank you for subscribing my channel. I do envy your environment because there is very limited place to find fossiles in Japan. The fossile my father gave me was purchased and tiny one. But I remember that I took a long time and serious look at it. Thank you again for watching and your warm encouragement. I will keep making prehistoric worlds to let to make kids happy.

Great job! The cephalopods and sea scorpions were fading in Numbers by the age of fishes but to a tiny trilobite they would still be a problem.

Nice video. But at the time of the armored fish (devonian) as represented at the end, there was effectively nice land colonization by the first plants but on the contrary of what is said at the beginning, as soon there were plants even tiny and primitive, there were accompanied quickly by the first terrestrial insects (actually, the first land insects fossils are dating of the early devonian and probably before). The eurypterids were still here but they were phased out by the fish.

That was incredible. My favorite documentaries are those that recreate prehistoric life, so it's fun to see an animator's take on a trilobite. Nice work! Is there any particular evidence that they made sounds? It was cute, but just curious if any distant surviving relations make similar noises, or you just made it up, because we don't know and it was fun.
