Absolutely love the soundtrack, so peaceful and relaxing! Sometimes I get frustrated with trimming and re-planting, this gives me hope to keep my cool and enjoy the fun of having a planted tank. Thank you for the awesome content!

Thanks for the tip about removing stem plants, trimming, and replanting the tops. I have often just chopped off the tops, and it looks a bit silly until they grow back. Also the backdrop music is awesome!

I have some kind of string algae in the mix with my moss balls, kinda tricky to cut away without making a mess of the moss ball.

when you trim, what part do you replant? the top or the bottom? trim the top, and replant the bottom, discarding the tops?

More times than not my stems will send up a one sided chute rather than two. I'm thinking it's my light but I dunno? Standard 75 gallon using two Fluval 3.0's maxed out. Also pumping CO2 in at a high rate, 7.2pH down to 6.0. Dosing every day but Sunday GLA Fertz. Tried this with Rotala Green, H'ra, Ramasoir Florida, Ludwigia Super Red Mini, Ludwigia Repens, Myrio Green and Myrio Roraima, and that's just what I can think of. I've tried trimming just above the node as well as just below it. I do gotta say, it seems like I have better success if I trim just below the node but it still RARELY sends up two chutes, RARELY. Any advice would be appreciated!

@ThenX what do you mean what's my setup? As far as brand? I'm using a CO2Art Regulator and a NilocG "Advanced" CO2 Reactor.
