But you don’t often hear about things to do in Trinidad outside of Carnival, which is why I was excited about exploring. Byron Lee and the Dragonaires a Jamaican band used to come to play music on the road for mas bands for carnival. He in turn took T and T carnival to Jamaica

That last bit about going to T&T right away, and go to Carnival next time, I've been saying that for about 6-7 years. We are finally going in March. Glad we are going to get a more local experience before heading to the bacchanal. Great video!! I took notes!

Big up T&T , our carnival fetes start the day after christmas ,and goes on for about 2 mths culminating in our street party on carnival monday & tuesdsy.❤❤😂❤❤❤

Walk with comfy shoes for carnival. Book your flight and hotel early in advance cause places can fill up fast. Try punchon rum, meet some locals and have fun. Do judge the way we fete aka party, and paste yourself. But above all bring comfortable shoes. Dont forget to experience Jouvet. Take in a fete or two have a blast and free up yourselves. Happy Carnival 2024. Carnival 2024 dates is February 7-14 stay and extra week and visit Tobago our sister island.

Trinidad carnival is now crude dance moves that allows free masturbation on the streets . It has lost its cultural aspect and vision and represents little cultural art now. Many people I know are put off by Trinidad carnival and many tourist with values and morals shuns attending the carnival

Apparently, Natasha never traveled on a plane. Fact is, flights to Trinidad are listed as going to Port of Spain, so Kemoy is correct in that regard. Thank you, sir.

There was much respect in your narrative of my beautiful island of Trinidad, I deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness. I think it was wise featuring some of the amazing things that both local and visitors alike can partake besides the overdone ones that appear to be the template for many vloggers/bloggers. Trinidad is truly a beautiful island, it is definitely more than CARNIVAL although it is indeed "THE GREATESS SHOW ON EARTH! Please add more visuals as "a picture is truly worth more than a thousand words". As for the above response Piarco International Airport is located in Tunapuna/Piarco area and not the capital city of Port Of Spain. It is the airlines fault for giving out incorrect information. I do encourage you to visit again so that you can check out things like hiking to the various waterfalls visiting the bird sanctuary at Caroni Swamp, taking the party boat around FIVE ISLANDS etc. Tobago, is indeed magnificent you have to experience it first hand to understand. Tobago is out in the Caribbean Sea not in a gulf like Trinidad therefore, the ocean is all types of blue. This means that Tobago have some of the best beaches in the world. Tobago is a great place for swimming, snokeling, sailing and many other water activities. There is lots to see and do there or just relax it that's your desire. We have everything between the two island that's why its called Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad is more fast pace, industrialized, multicultural while Tobago is more easy going, quiet and African. Neither island is necessary better than the other they are just different and beautiful individually and PHENOMENAL together.
