Tractors galore!!! The Trinity Dairy crew spent the day in McGrath, MN for the White Pine Logging and Threshing Show. The show isn't the biggest in the state by far, but it is a very fun, charming event for the whole family. There are over 250 tractors, steam engines, and trucks exhibited. There's hit and miss engines, pedal tractors, vintage chainsaws filling the grounds. The grounds has a schoolhouse, the Giese, MN post office, blacksmith shop, pioneer farm house, a grain mill being run by a water wheel, and newspaper printing shop. Throughout the day you can watch shingles being made, concrete stepping stones being poured, barrel making, wood splitting, a baker fan, and a sawmill. There are threshing demonstrations, along with corn shelling, square baling, and running an old silo filler. At 1pm everyday is when the grounds are thundering with all the machines up and running for the parade, but the ground really shakes when the 4 Fairbanks Morse engines are fired up! There is too much for just one video, so this video is showing the grounds, sawmill, buildings, and touring the tractors on display. Each road marks the tractor brand; Farmall, International, John Deere, Case, Minneapolis Moline, Ford, Caterpillar, Oliver, Hart Parr, Rumely, Oil Pull, Gas Pull, Allis Chalmers, Cub Cadet, The New Huber, The Minneapolis, New Giant, Nichols and Shepard Co., Colean, Fordson, Twin City, Massey Ferguson, Massey Harris, Aultman, Avery, Russel, and more!

I was very impressed to see that a lot of the steam engines were being ran by people in their late teens and early twenties, hopefully it will carry on for the next generation.

Thanks for taking the time to share how it was done generations ago. I know these types of videos don't produce the viewers as other ones do. But everyone who watches this should promote this on other youtube channels. Really educational and relaxing to watch. Just my opinion.

We had a sawmill like the one at 5:00 when I was growing up (about 30 years ago or so...). It was my great, great grandfather's I believe... I think it was from the 1920's maybe. My dad used a big 471 Detroit Diesel as a power plant and filled lumber orders for people who would bring us logs. That brings back lots of memories of long days of hard work...

What a great old engine show! That T-shirt is a small token of appreciation for all the work and dedication for filming your family's life on the farm. I can only wish I still had that much energy.
