In this video I review our new Trinnov MC-Pro Dante version. The most essential piece of equipment in any Dolby Atmos studio. Without the Trinnov active you can not trust your monitoring. It's only once you hear perfect audio you realise just how important a Trinnnov is even in the best of rooms.

I'm curious about the specs & software of the PC they built, it looks like a rack-mounted Windows or Linux CPU

It would be interesting if you did a video or short on the difference between using a Trinnov versus Avid SPQ. I believe Sonarworks recently added immersive to their software as well. Obviously you find value in spending the $12k for a Trinnov than using cheaper option or tools included with your interface.

I do post work and am seriously thinking of adding an Atmos room. Great videos and I have learned a lot from watching them. A few questions on your dante set-up. What's your pathway going to be in the new room? What speakers are you putting in the new room? On the Trinnov can you set-up two "sweet" spots and switch them back and forth. I ask this because my main mastering spot would be my primary sweet spot but them when I have clients in the room I would like them to hear the sweet spot on playback. Is this possible?

There’s not a whole lot of info on why people would go with an MC vs a DMON or ST2. If someone was to go from the ground up, getting speakers that will take advantage of the MC might be good to consider when weighing the advantages
