Triops are the longest existing living creatures on earth. In this video you can see Triops laying eggs, shedding their skin, and eating aquatic plants. And I'll tell you some interesting facts about Triops Cancriformis breeding/hatching or reproduction, while you see the oldest living animals on the world that are still alive - swimming around in the aquarium or doing whatever.

They are so pretty!! I'm trying to raise my first gen of triops. It's only one triop though, his name is Bob of the Bobbert gen. Keep the awesome work up!!! Frickin loved the shedding fragments!!!

you have to dry the aquarium under the sun once they die and lay eggs, and then water it again

Sowas hast du. Ich hatte auch mal Triopse. Wusstest du, dass es die im Januar Februar in kleinen Gezeitentümpeln durch Schmelzwasser manchmal gibt? Die heißen dann Frühjahrs-Schildkrebs.

Ja, ich hab aber letztens gehört dass die mittlerweile kurz vorm Aussterben sind in Europa :/ Da sieht man mal wieder was der Mensch alles anrichtet - Sogar ein Lebewesen, das schon seit 300 Millionen Jahren überlebt hat, hat keine Chance gegen die Menschheit... Finde das extrem traurig irgendwie :/

@@Stachli alles wird seltener und der mensch wird immer mehr. In den letzten 200 Jahren ist die Bevölkerung um 7,4 Mrd. Menschen gestiegen.

This is so stupid, cool video but they are no where near the oldest living animal species are you kidding?? Jellyfish for example predate them, and so do many other species.

yeah older forms of jellyfish. these are the oldest unchanged animals there are. non evolved.
