First of all, a Ramadan Kareem to you and yours!
So I find myself in Dhaka and upon seeing that Kuwait Airways was operating the 4 class B777-300ER there I booked myself a ticket. And not only to experience this beautiful jet, but also because I know the First Class operates as Business Class, and Business operates as Economy!
This was an unique opportunity to experience this great seat at a low price!
I have to make clear that it is the Business Class seat with an Economy Class service.
But it continues to be better vs Euro and US carriers on a 5 hour flight!!
Come an join me on this rare airline and experience a top notch service to Kuwait.

4:35 The ending of the safety video is really lovely! Love how kuwait airways made that safety video❤ Also, Kuwait Airways did their logo like a bird and it’s really cool it’s even on the aircraft! And they used the logo as a light in night times and even when the lights are off. Kuwait Airways Should read this! We want more kuwait airways videos!

Very much so! I now want to try all other aircrafts they fly. I used to fly with them some 16 years ago when I was living in Paris as they had flights to Rome with the A300 and A340. But they were quite old! So good improvements so far.

Bro as usual great content love from Pakistan 🇵🇰,never thought Kuwait airways could be great always ignored them on boards here in Pakistan,but will surely give them a try one day,actually the prayer of journey is short but Kuwait airlines has read two separate prayers that’s why,and for the slides one I thing in water rafts and wings are available that’s why maybe and once I heard that FAA has regulation for the time taken in evacuation on land that’s why they use all 10 on land. you are doing a great job 👏

Nice trip report. Kuwait airways flight is remarkable. Off course Kuwait is a rich country, so their Airline shoud also depict the richness in interior & comfort. All together reasonable video.

Similar color yet so many differences! I don’t think we’ll see this blue one in TLV anytime soon, but hey, you never know like with the UAE and Bahrain!

Another great video as usual. As you are an av-geek, I suggest you to visit Leh once. It is a very beautiful place. Also you can climb to some of the monasteries in the cities on the hilltops. From there you can see fantastic views of planes landing and taking out of the runway below. Also, while going to Leh or returning from there, tou can take the Leh-Srinagar flight which as absolutely stunning views. Thanks

Great video. I finally got to try business on qatars 380 2 days ago. Fantastic. Like the herringbone seats like they have on 787-8. Fantastic food. Best i ever had on a flight. And enjoyed single malt in the bar. Fantastic produkt. Love the silent 380. 🙏

Thanks Hasan! So yes, I really thought the meal was prepared in Dhaka as it just had that authentic touch to it, but most of the tray items were in Arabic.. So I was a bit confused! I wouldn’t know where it was catered. I should have asked!

I was in Dhaka for 24 hours, just quickly for work. But that was enough time to enjoy the best Biryani in the world! And don’t worry, the airport is part of the charm of traveling there. It would be boring if all airports were the same!😜

This was very nostalgic for me as growing up in Kwt this was my home airline. Love the new livery and the product. They have always had great food and glad to see their service has improved. The two cities you mentioned Salmiyah I used to live here and Kuwait City where I was born and grew up. Makes me want to visit. Did you get to eat shwarama, it’s my favorite.

@@TheLayoverAviation Yes, I agree. I’m a US passport holder, and once the workers see your an American they take advantage of you. I experienced this first-hand with my family and they delayed our check-in and made up a false policy that Emirates made about only one carry on is allowed - with no laptop bags being allowed. It was a true nightmare in Dhaka airport.

Nice Economy/Business class! Wish I could grab one like that here! Their FC suite kind of looks a bit like Etihad's FC in their 787. The airport looked super crowded and those line ughh :( Thanks for sharing I'd probably never get to see this gem otherwise so ty :)

Well observed about the FC, it might actually be the same seat manufacturer. Whatever I showed from Dhaka airport is not enough at all, but I couldn’t really film as it’s just loud and with someone always next to you. Ah yes, and forget the toilets. The dirtiest ones I’ve seen with many insects. And more! But that’s what makes it kind of fun too😅 Thanks for writing, glad seeing you around!

Hello matey! I hope to try their A330-800 too, such a rare but sexy plane.. There is no prayer at EK unless you want to play it from the IFE. At QR it plays just before the safety video. It’s a black screen with the prayer on it in white. I’ll show it in 2 video’s from now! The crew spoil me because I spoil them😝 Take care!

To answer your question about the land vs water evacuation slides; On the 777-300, the doors directly by the wings (3L/3R), don't have the same slide packing as the other 4 sets of doors. These doors are just slides and not slide rafts like the other doors. These are only supposed to be used in case the aircraft were to be sinking rapidly in a ditching 😅 Att. A FA for a major US airline 😊 Love your videos! Thanks for such comprehensive reviews with a touch of humor!

hello there! You’re headed to the right direction with the answer, but it’s not fully it.. So yes, it does not have door integrated slide rafts but an aircraft integrated slide behind the wing. And what would happen if a panel opens up from the fuselage under the water? I’ll leave it there for now :) also, I think most airlines have as procedure to disarm LR3 doors prior to ditching..

I photographed 9K-AOD while I was planespotting at JFK last year from the TWA Hotel observation deck. I've considered taking KU back to the states because they were cheaper than EY or EK, but that 2-2-2 biz class seating is not ideal for long trans-atl.

They are indeed the most affordable choice. I don’t actually mind that 2-2-2. Ok, there are more comfortable options but the price is much less here. And I loved the crews. On the longer flights I like to walk around and chat, that makes time go faster for me, so I rather have this then fully closable suites with robots serving me!😂

the b777-300er have 10 slides in total 8 slides fitted in main doors are using not only for scape slides but use as raft as well. the 2 slides are fitted in door 3 in over wing or off wing slides using only for slides for evacuation. im your silent subscriber.

Probably someone already answered the 777-300ER trivia, but hey, here goes. There are two types of doors on a 777. Type A and Type 1. Type A come fitted with slide-rafts, which are suitable for both land and ditching emergency evacuation. These doors are 1, 2, 4 and 5 (L/R). However doors 3L/R are type 1 doors, meaning they are only fitted with a slide, which makes them secondary exits in case of a ditching evacuation. Also unlike on other aircraft types, they are right over the wings on a 777, which would make them impractical in such an evacuation. The only time they would be deployed is if the aircraft is sinking rapidly or if at least half of the slide-rafts on other doors fail to deploy or are damaged.

faaaaaaannnntastic video!!!! i really love your videos! and yes I agree with u 100% --- KU has been really busy in working to gain back its past glory during the 80s. The changes that u have mentioned and as seen here, are a solid testament to their hard work. I enjoyed my KU flight a couple of years ago and I really see a bright future for them. It would b awesome to have KU back in the game and lead side by side with QR.

The long prayer is the complete one which is played on SAUDIA and KUWAIT AIR, the rest play a shorter version which is easier to remember.

Took KU on a trip to BKK some years ago and their economy product on the 77W was very good. KWI at the time was a big disappointment though with dirty and broken toilets and very little seating space

I flew that a few times but did not publish it as the light outside wasn’t good. This month I’ll fly Singapore-Bangkok, Doha-Bangkok and Bangkok-Hong Kong. They should be published anytime in May I think.

I’ll try the A330 at some point, but the smaller ones no thanks! After living 12 years in the Middle East I just can’t go back to flying short haul in Europe on the A320’s, heck, short haul in Africa is much better! I hope to publish some Brussels Airlines soon.

It was Economy Class like I explained. Business Class operated as Economy Class and First as Business Class. Economy was overbooked.
