OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Thank you very much for your comment! 😉 Glad that you appreciated the announcements in Italian! Yeah, actually I think the same. This aircraft was just 2 weeks old and had 50 flights in its record at day of filming. Also, these engines are really new and had already some issues during their design as well. So it's quite normal to experience some problems in service. Anyway, I feel half lucky to keep this flight in my records. I agree with you about the crew. They were really great and helpful. I usually feel good and comfortable when flying easyJet and like their attitude towards passengers, more than many other airlines. You mention Norwegian, I've flown just twice with them but crew was nothing special, quite cold... I'll be flying again with easyJet to FUE in 2 months. I hope I'll get the neo again! Regarding the engine sound, it's absolutely great! Those engines make you feel like flying a more serious, bigger aircraft. Also, the less noise lets you feel more comfortable and less tired when you arrive at your destination. I absolutely approve the neo engines for longer flights! You prefer more noisy engines maybe because you have more direct relationship with engines when you pilot since you are the one who controls them. So even as a passenger, you enjoy more noisy engines... don't you? eheh. Oh, I really hate LTN. So uncomfortable to reach by train + cramped shuttle bus. Also, that corridor to the immigration is so small that you don't feel to be welcomed by the airport. Ok, I agree with you that there are no jetways, but even MXP T2 does not have them and I feel much more comfortable than in LTN! The best airports in Europe? The Spanish ones for sure! 😃

Exactly, when I talk about the engine roar, it's because I like to feel the power of those engines. But also, I can understand that, for the majority of the passengers, the more silent the engines are, the best perception they have so... The worst will be when, in 20-30 years, the commercial planes will be electric and there won't be almost any sound coming out of them. I was in Luton just departing, not arriving, so I can't say anything about the queues. What I've seen just a month ago was that the passport/EU ID queues in Gatwick were of around 30-40 minutes... unacceptable. Imagine that you have a connecting flight... OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Did you try the eGates? There's almost no queue there even in LGW, I mean... based on my experience obviously. In LTN I had to wait a long queue even at eGates because there was a common queue both on normal passport check and eGates till the separation. Even in LHR I never faced queues at eGates. The best airport in terms of waiting time remains LCY for me, but I hate LCY when departing, the waiting area is so small considering the increase of pax in the last years.

Andrew Ashton I agree with you, I find easyJet crew the friendliest in the LCC panorama. I actually experienced some delays in the past, but, thanks also to their app and attentive cabin crew, I've never felt disappointed or upset. Hope they will continue to set the standard and improve more and more, in order to increase the gap between them and the other LCC in Europe.

@Andrew Ashton: During the past few years I was regulary flown with three airlines 1. Norwegian: very new planes and plenty of leg-room, but the cabin-crew is rude and not customer-friendly. 2. Eurowings: PARTLY brandnew A320(S) fleet, cabin-crew always attentive and friendly but the flights are very expensive these times and 3: "easyJet": Low prices, modern and clean Airbus fleet and very funny and friendly cabin-staff, Cabin-PA,s in several languages (depending on the flight destination). My favourit: "EASYJET/EASYJET EUROPE and EASYJET SWITZERLAND"

It's very unfortunate for me that the neo is so quiet on takeoff, I love hearing the sound of the engine on takeoff when seated in front of the wing, Now it's just a bore on the neo. And what is that AWFUL high pitched noise coming from the engine shortly after takeoff right until cruising? It's ear-piercing and almost nauseating. Quieter my ass.

Hamza Ghormy Grazie mille come sempre! 😉 Più che altro, proprio al mio primo volo sul neo mi doveva capitare un problema al motore... quasi da barzelletta... Comunque l'equipaggio è stato veramente professionale e ha fatto in modo che questo problema non venisse percepito come tale. Inoltre siamo stati di continuo informati e l'equipaggio passava di continuo per la cabina per assicurarsi che i passeggeri stessero bene (un problema al motore prima della partenza può essere fonte di trauma per chi non è abituato a volare). Luton penso sia l'aeroporto più scomodo di tutti. I corridoi per l'immigrazione sono stretti, l'area di ritiro bagagli è piccola e i bagagli arrivano con notevole ritardo. L'area di noleggio auto si trova fuori dall'aeroporto e si può raggiungerla solo con una navetta gratuita, la cui fermata per altro non è ben segnalata. Per raggiungere la stazione del treno Parkway, devi prendere la navetta gratuita che non è altro che un bus urbano, senza alloggiamento per i bagagli e per salirci, devi aver prima comprato il biglietto del treno in aeroporto. Le macchinette per comprare il biglietto del treno sono costantemente prese d'assalto per cui aspettati molta coda, a meno che compri il biglietto on-line o tramite app Trainline. Considera che da quando sono sceso dall'aereo a quando ho preso l'auto a noleggio, ci ho messo 1h30. Se prendi il treno, ancora peggio perché devi considerare il tempo di acquisto del biglietto, l'attesa del bus, il tempo di viaggio del bus, l'attesa del treno in stazione più il viaggio in treno. Stansted per questo è più comodo secondo me. L'aeroporto è più arioso, moderno e non servono navette per prendere il treno. La famiglia A320neo vola anche coi colori Lufthansa, SAS, Iberia, British, Turkish, Pegasus, Air Malta, TAP...

@@NikiSvaizer Io in Aprile 2017 ho avuto un problema con EasyJet di mancanza equipaggio avvisato con congruo anticipo del ritardo. Io ho volato su Stansted e la fermata dei bus per Londra è come Bergamo. A Malpensa potrebbero farne una o dopo l incremento del treno i bus sono passati in secondo piano come investimenti ?

Hamza Ghormy In che senso “a MXP potrebbero farne una”? I treni sono spesso pieni (le ultime volte che l’ho preso, non ho trovato posto a sedere) e penso anche i bus, visto l’aumento dei voli e dei pax.

@@NikiSvaizer al momento più che un autostazione mi sembrano solo parcheggi per autobus . Al terminal 2 c'è una o due panchine alla uscita degli arrivi e non sala d aspetto

Hamza Ghormy Eh sì, al T2 il bus lo prendi direttamente al parcheggio dei bus. A BGY almeno ci sono le panchine per ogni pensilina mentre a MXP le panchine sono sulla banchina che si affaccia sui taxi.
