Amazing trip report!! I flew the 777-300ER and A321, which were both pretty nice! I sure would love to try the A330 sometime!

I went on Etihad in 2014/2015 too on their A330. I remember the flight was nice.

Lovely report. Just watching this one video made me subscribe to you! Etihad is great. I recently flew from Kolkata to Chicago via Abu Dhabi, and it was a superb experience. I loved it. In fact, my next trip back home came down to Emirates vs. Etihad. I went for Etihad simply because I get to try their impressive new A380s and B787, while also a flight on the ex-Air India B777-200LRs! :D

Etihad airways rule! I love this video as its a great flight report, I flew Etihad two years ago from Manchester on a 777 (A6-ETC) and then Returned on An A346 (A6-EHH) just like the one you saw to CDG, I covered them in my flight reviews too, but I have got to say, if I'm going somewhere long I'll shall be using Etihad again and again! :D once again great video and yes! Their boarding music is epic!!

They worked hard to compensate for the snug seating by offering many amenities not offered on a flight of this length by most airlines.

Fantastic trip report, and that wonderful Abu Dhabi scenery, also nice to see some apron action, love remote stands too if there's something to see along the way, hope you enjoyed your flight !!!

Great video! The new livery of Etihad reminds me somehow of the camourflage livery of the WWI German fighterplanes at the end..

Comparing with another A332, like Qatar's, it's very elegant and modern! I've flown with Qatar's A332 and IFE (for example), was a little bit old (small TV screen, outdated films, etc...) so I get a bit dissapointed about it. I can't wait to fly with EY soon! hello I'm planning to fly from Brussels to Colombo via Abu Dhabi! I did allreaday this destination with 3 others companies..& I'm excited to fly soon with Etihad !

My first international flight was with Emirates, Boeing 777-300. It was very nice. Flying with Etihad next with the A330-200. Thank you for your review, looks pretty good! btw flying from Johannesburg to Abu Dhabi, and the to Phuket- very long trip!

Etihad and Emerates would be on a par with each other service and standard wise. While Emerates is bigger with more aircraft, Etihad is actually the Flag Carrier and official Airline of the UAE. However the 'Hawk of Quraish' Emblem Flag which was on the Tail Fin has been changed now with the new livery. Many of Etihad's aircraft are still flying with the old Flag though. I'm flying from Dublin to Bangkok in a few weeks with Etihad. It comes back through London because the flight times suited me better. I'm not complaining. I will have the excitement of flying an A330 200 from Dublin to Abu Dhabi. A Boeing 777 300ER from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok. The same 777 back from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi and then the A380 800 from Abu Dhabi to London. Finally an Aer Lingus A321 from London to Dublin. This trip I'll get to fly the best in the skies. All this for €571, Etihad's current 50% off economy deal. Happy days. I've flown Etihad before and Emerates on this same journey last year and they are my favourite airlines to fly. The only drawback with Etihad is they own the Terminal in Abu Dhabi and there is very little to see in it. Free Wi Fi but only a couple of coffee shops. With Emerates you fly to Dubai and have access to hundreds of restaurants, bars, burger joints etc. I suppose with only a 2 hour connecting window in Abu Dhabi it's not too bad.

Ho acquistato il biglietto a Febbraio con i posti a sedere prenotati 44A e 35A,mentre il mio amico l'ha acquistato a Dicembre con rispettivi 44C e 35C. MA PERCHE' A QUEST'ULTIMO GLI AVETE CAMBIATO I POSTI CHE ERANO GIA' STATI PRENOTATI? Ma la cosa che mi ha fatto più schifo è stato il mentire sul secondo volo,dicendo che l'aereo era pieno,invece davanti a me c'era il 34A e il 35C vuoti oltre a qualcun'altro posto.AVETE FATTO SOLO PENA!Io ne ho fatti parecchi di viaggi ai tropici con compagnie della Star Alleance,mai avuto un problema,ho voluto provare con voi quest'anno anche perchè c'era questo mio amico che con voi aveva già volato,e tutte le volte gli avete perso la valigia,anche quest'anno nell'andata,gli è arrivata in albergo dopo 2-3 giorni....Siete un disastro! Questa per me è stata la prima e ultima volta che vado in vacanza con la vostra compagnia,per niente seria.... Vi ringrazio per avermi rovinato col vostro viaggio il rientro dalle ferie! Hello! :-) Awesome vid! I will travel with A380-800 to Australia from Abu with Etihad Airways... I am very tall (6'7", about 203cm tall) I forgot to pay the extra for leg room, unfortunatelly. :-( Do you think it may not be that bad for me? all I want is to fit in there I dont seek any comfort. Im pretty humble when it comes to this matter - ha!! Thank you :-)

Worst food ever(the cabin crew were nice btw) of any international flight i have recently taken , just flew in to JFK from Abu-dhabi, mostly vegetarian rice/hard cold sandwiches, I understand the airline wants to cater to the south Indian clients (no disrespect intended) but should have choice for other passengers as well, even kuwait airways food was a hundred times better during my recent flight
