I’ve never flown with Iberia, but it’s disappointing that they don’t provide any complimentary service on their European flights. It must be an IAG thing. I wouldn’t mind, but their fares don’t reflect the lack of service.✈️

I completely agree with you! Till now, I've never bought an Iberia flight as a normal ticket. I've always flown Iberia using my Avios and paying a little for taxes. I would never buy a normal ticket on Iberia, taking into account that their fares are usually not cheap and even water has to be paid. There is almost no difference compared to a LCC, expect the legroom in the fwd cabin.

Awesome report! I love MAD T4, one of the best terminal in Europe in my opinion. Also love Iberia even though I don't like the on-purchase service in their short-haul product. Greetings!

Ciao e grazie a te come sempre del tuo intervento! Barajas è un aeroporto moderno e spazioso, ma anche gigante, per cui i transiti vanno ben calcolati. Concordo sull'affidabilità di Iberia, in termini di sicurezza e puntualità. A luglio tornerò a volare su LIN e MXP e ti farò sapere.

That is an awesome perk to have free seat selection for the extra legroom seats. That is pretty rare!

Yes, if you purchase your Iberia ticket using Avios, even Premium Economy seats on A330/A340 on domestic flights (such as MAD-LPA) and emergency exit seats on A320/A330/A340 are free of charge. You can select any seat you want for free!

Some years ago, I flew with Lufthansa from Stockholm Sweden to Boston Massachusetts via Munich Germany in business class. That was very nice! From Stockholm to Munich we flew on board an Airbus A320 and from Munich to Boston we flew on board an Airbus a 340. Great flight on both legs!!
