Welcome to BEKAL - this place has it all!
We travelled for a change in scene from Bangalore to Bekal via Coorg. Our purpose was to stay for a longer period and work from these places (Coorg & Bekal), as we had been tied down for a long time in Bangalore, thanks to COVID.
We stayed in Bekal, Kerala for over a week and each day was a bliss!
If you want to unwind and maybe take office there, you can stay for a week or more as you can get good deals as well and working with the beach view definitely does not hurt! :)
This is NOT a party destination rather it is for someone who wants to unwind amidst nature.

are there good restaurants on the way to Bekal from Coorg? is the beach ok for swimming?

Not so many. Beach is fine to swim, no issues.

You know each state in India has its own Indian accent. And when you have literally lived your childhood in multiple states from north east to Himalayas to everywhere, the accent is a mix and that's where the detaaail comes in from. Guilty as charged.😊
