You know each state in India has its own Indian accent. And when you have literally lived your childhood in multiple states from north east to Himalayas to everywhere, the accent is a mix and that's where the detaaail comes in from. Guilty as charged.😊

A very detailed review. However, a big point that you may have missed is how do these two properties stack up when one wants to visit Bandipur. Most people will want to visit the Tiger Reserve and they would like to know which property makes sense in terms of distance, facilitation, sightings.

You can't stay here especially considering the altitude. The base location will be Lachen from where you can travel to and fro to the lake

The weather is unpredictable but overall the lake is unaccessible from Dec end to Feb since roads get blocked. So please check and plan accordingly.

Hi, Since Lachen is a small remote village, you will not get many great options but try : Summit Panghen Metok Hotel - it has power backup. Also Rufina Lachen Deezong and Blue Pine are budget but popular options as well. You can check them online before booking.

You have a lot of options depending on your taste - beaches in winters are the best. Or you could opt for chadar trek in Ladakh or learn skiing in Auli.

Hello, we went during April - doubt about the snow at present. Also, Nathu La was closed due to COVID (we got special permission), so please check that before you plan a trip there.

Hello, till Kalimpong it is fine. After that we went to Nathula via Zuluk and that road has some issues but was okay.

Yes, the Internet is good. They have special packages for workation as well if you are spending longer time with them. Sorry, don't have any food menu.

No and no. Pretty much as it used to be. No restrictions.

The place was shut down back in 2014 for too many deaths in the place . It's not a natural place and is basically a quarry leftover. It's dangerous. Might be due to negligence by authorities that the place is open to people again.every 1-2 meters ,depth Varies in 100-1000 feet and is real danger for swimming. I suggest you avoid this place as it's taken many lives .I lost a friend there.

Yes, like i mentioned in the video swimming is strictly prohibited. Just go n soak in the view. You need to be safe no matter where you go.
