Regidoom does all three at the end of each other turn, but has his own mechanic, thus being him able to take your notes AND your health.

Regirode un un un joke aside here's who I think would actually fit each role Regice: tails not much of a reason beyond that the other 2 fit specific roles to well leaving regice as the default Knuckles: regirock, his appearance is rough around the edges and made of stone wich conveys a sens of sturdy defense and a reliance on brute force (idk if regirock is actually like that though) plus regirode continuing to pointlessly incorporate rocks into its body to keep its crumbling body intact despite having lost his ability to repair himself is pretty similar to knuckles refusing to give up and insisting on throwing more punches xenophanes way despite the odds being so against him (atleast that's how I interpret it) Lastly registeel is eggman because they are the most robotic looking one and would probably be more reliant on strategy then brute force like eggman also regirust having grown rusty and stiff could be compared to how soul-eggman is often depicted leaning forward with his arms limp at his side as if he's lost most control over his limbs and can only move them briefly to pose before they fall back to his sides (yes I know it's a stretch)
