after all those pull tabs you deserve some silver yes 💪🏻👍🏻🙏🏻✌🏻 I found my first 2 pieces of jewelry yesterday nothing fancy but still 🙏🏻✌🏻🥳 that SC24 coil works as a charm on those hi polluted places where the foil aluminum sla and can shreds are gone true a lawnmower blender that coil sniffs in-between and finding the good stuff 🙏🏻👍🏻 nice little hunt brother good to see you out there detecting 😁👍🏻😎

Thanks! One bad thing about hunting the picnic table is there will be a lot of pull tabs near by. SC24 is definitely amazing in trashy areas. Love the 24 style coins. Congrats on the silver and happy hunting my friend!

That pulltab you found is called a small hole hornet pulltab, they are tied for my favourite along with tear drop tabs, but tear drop tabs are actually more of a ring pull than a pulltab, cudziks tabs are cool too, they are called hornet tabs because it looks like it has hornet wings, like you are looking at a hornet top down 😊

@@TheTexanDetector not sure actually, I got the name from the pulltab reddit, but ring pulls were used until around 75-80 so maybe sometime in the 80s

I wish canada made silver nickels, instead during ww2 and during the korean war, we stopped making nickel nickels and made chrome plated steel nickels, and they are almost always rusty these days, hard to find in good condition, even in banker boxes they are rusty, not even talking about in the ground

You never said the year on the war nickel. What constitutes a war nickel?????? What do I look for to know if I have one?

War nickels are half way thru 42 till 45. You'll know if you have one because there will be a big mint mark above the Monticello on the back. They are 35% silver. This one was a 45.
