Yeah I was going through gloves every few months. Then one day I stopped at McCoy's and got some dewalt gloves and they lasted over a year. I got this pair on amazon. Not quite the same as the ones I got at the lumber yard, but still seem pretty good. Funny thing is on this pair the velcro straps go the opposite direction lol

If you use g discrimination patter and 60 tone in my opinion tone breaks are a complete waste of time. Now that being said very small gold can ring up in the iron range 3-11 VDI. That's why you'll see me dig many bobby pins in my videos. I do have an email its on my channel in the about page.

Yes parks and schools can be great places to hunt, but the rules can be pretty confusing. I have 1 park that's literally two blocks from a park I hunt. But that park is strictly off limits because its a county park and not a city park. You can find most of that info online.

I was using sensitivity 13, discrimination pattern g, 60 tones, and everything else was just the stock beach program.

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow with the Triple Score, been too busy with the radio hobby, antenna adjustments on the big antenna's, climbing up and down the tower several times is good for the body. LOL

I use 60 tone, if on 0, discrimination pattern g. Now recovery I use 5 on the tot lot and in the grass I use 3-4. Sensitivity I have been using 5-6 on the tot lot and 13-14 in grass.

Silver coins are funny. I found one my 3rd time out detecting and didn't find another one for 2 years. Then I found 6 in 3 months time. Then over a year till the next one. The whole time hunting the same areas 🤣. Just keep digging my friend and they'll come. One place I always like to check is the base of old trees or even better anytime they take out an old tree.

Yeah I don't know what's going on lol. I started the year killing the rings at the parks now I can't find any 🤣. Now in the last 6 months I've found more bracelets than I found in the last 6 years 🤣. Maybe they are more in style now who knows.

I use the SC24 most of the time. I know at the beach I probably should have changed out coils, but it was already on the detector and I was trying to hurry up and beat the rain that was coming.

I do sometimes, I actually have a gold chain that rings up 11 on the legend, though I dug it at a higher number because it had a junker pendent on it, but it just goes to show those foil tones could be gold or stainless steel

Yeah my Legend screen has a few scratches as well. I just ordered some of the nano glass protectors. Comes 3 in a pack I'm going to put one on the legend, double score, and triple score. If i like them I'll start linking them in my videos.

The Accupoint is great for distinguishing between ferrous & non-ferrous targets but can be frustrating when trying to turn it off if you press the button too long and you end up having to go through all the settings before you can get back to the screen to where you turn it off.

Yeah especially wearing gloves lol. You get the hang of it. Only problem I have is I think I'm pushing the button down, but because of the gloves I'm not lol. Not a big deal though just kind of funny when I go to put it in the holster and it goes off lol.

I run it pretty wide open no iron filter, discrimination pattern g, on the tot lot I run 5 sensitivity in dirt I run 8 or 9, on the tot lot I run recovery speed 3 on dirt 2.

@@TheTexanDetector Thank you! I just bought an S2 and I have the SC9 coil coming tomorrow. This will be my first multi-frequency machine and getting familiar with the VDI numbers will take some getting used to. Im used to my Simplex Ultra and know all the numbers off that machine so this should a great new experience! Right now were dealing with some of that punishing Texas heat up here in Iowa! 95° with awful humidity! I would rather hunt in 20° weather than in this heat and it's even worse with the skeeters!🥵 Happy hunting and thanks for the inspiration!

Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do lol. Turned out delicious. Made me want to cook them that way all the time lol. Cooked it on indirect heat at 285° for about 45 minutes then direct heat for about 5 minutes to get it crispy. Man it was good 😋

It would be cool if you might tell us what the VDI numbers are for the targets you dig up! Im getting a Double Score this weekend and it would be helpful if we knew what the numbers were ringing up. The actual numbers compared to an air test is more beneficial! Still a great hunt though!

@@pookers2000 i try, but sometimes I get excited when I get a signal and forget. I do have quite a few live style hunts with the double score where I do call out a lot of the VDI numbers. There is a playlist just for the double score on my channel. Great machine you'll love it.

yeah 👍🏻 brother detecting started good 🙏🏻😁 full cycle in coins silver bracelet that's what I'm talking about 💪🏻😎 did a little detecting yesterday after a lot of aluminum can sla the coins came up and was very surprised about the nokta nana it did better than expected the dual tones worked as a charm and a bit more precise and the triple score I'm loving that machine even more those spiderweb climbing things there I always have good luck even found my first gold 18k ring and old / new coins 😎😁 nice hunt brother 👍🏻 good to see you out there detecting greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱✌🏻
