Emma sounds like exactly what she IS. A privileged young woman that has never HAD to worry about where her next meal is coming from or what is or isnt in her bank account. Imo her KZfaq channel was just a hobby that caught on at the right time and now as a young adult shes having to deal with the ramifications irl of sharing so much online. Honestly this system makes sense for Emma, she clearly had a spending problem and was buying way more then she needed at some point, all the huuuge thrift hauls and buying extra suitcases to fit all her purchases during trips. Clearly she’s someone who would spend because she had the money, because she could. I definitely know people like that especially ones with adhd that have spending problems and will spend whatever they have on their accounts and end up unable to buy for and pay for bills. I know people who keep their savings with their parents cuz they know they can’t be trusted to not spend it. The whole thing seems reasonable to me, especially considering taxes aren’t deducted each month in the us, and is payed of once a year, that can definitely complicate your finances and knowing how much you actually have to spend

Ok usually I never comment but Bobby lee also does this and ngl he was getting a lot of praise for it. To be fair his reason was so he wouldn’t be caught up in money and just focus on the quality of what he was making. I don’t know I just just remember that so🤷🏻♀️

I love Trish but she did in fact say that she never looks at her account before
@devoniaroach-williams13438 ай бұрын
It’s a learning opportunity, if Emma doesn’t know how to manage the money she has by looking at it one day when her parents aren’t supporting her or things change people could be making moves with your money that you don’t understand because you think your being smart and frugal by not looking but you’re actually doing yourself a diservice and probably screwing yourself over in the long run

You always need to check your account. And the excuse of “if I know how much I have I’ll go out of my budget” well work on controlling the impulse to buy things that aren’t necessary. But YOU ALWAYS NEED TO CHECK. PEOPLE HAVE BAD INTENTIONS 😅SPECIALLY WHEN MONEY IS INVOLVED. THE ROOTS OF PROBLEMS IS THE LOVE FOR MONEY

i dont watch emma but i think she's finally high enough where people can pull her down finally. but also emma has an air of "im not one of u anymore" around her. the way she talks in interviews is like she has finally crossed the glass ceiling where she's rich and a celeb anymore and now she's nolonger relateable. there are many youtubers who are rich like emma but dont evolve to a completely new person that your own fans keep dragging you for no good reason

First off, Trisha called her out for “not liking when she’s being copied” Emma never said that, she said it’s fine that people copy her, but she didn’t like that people were discrediting her for coming up with that editing style. Secondly, Trisha is the lasttttt person to call someone out over being out of touch when it comes to money

If you had self control, you would look at your finances without falling to the urge of spending it on things you don’t need. If you think that even just knowing the numbers of what is in your bank account may cause you to spend it on a not-so-frugal choice, that definitely ain’t self control.
