If you're going to having a child, it's not a solution to completely shield it from society like Trisha seems to plan. She doesn't live forever. At some point her child has to live without their mother's watch. It's hard to raise an independent child if you're that clingy. I just gave birth to our first baby a month ago and I can say it’s been the wildest emotional ride. My profession is marriage and family therapy so I see how raising children takes a toll on parents, but even my hours of working with families couldn’t prepare me for being a parent to a newborn. Changing the diaper is literally the easiest part. The postpartum depression and anxiety and all the hormones in between is enough to drive the most sane person crazy. Luckily, it can be a temporary experience, but seeing someone like Trisha who already has to fight hard to keep her mental health afloat makes me concerned because it is really so hard (and rewarding) at times. I hope she reaches out for support because feeling like “I don’t want others to hold my baby” will take a huge toll on her.

Personally, I worry for this child but I wouldn't go as far to bash her during pregnancy. I just hope this is the wake-up call she needs to get her shit together.

Bruh, I went to help out my sister with her first born the first couple months because her husband wasn't available due to his job. I barely have 20 hours of sleep each week for 2 months straight. It was hell. Things only start to get better when baby hit 3 months and started to sleep longer at night. (She's an angel for that btw. It's not too common for babies start sleeping longer at night once they hit he 3 months mark.) The first time she did it, my sis and I got worried and went to check her breathe and poked her for reaction to make sure she didn't just passed out. After that sis and I stick with the plan when its one's turn to sleep, no matter how loud the baby cries, we don't wake up and let the other person on shift to take care of it. Then I could finally sleep up to 4 or 5 hours each night. Still couldn't get a full night because my body was clocked into a way when I hear baby's crying I will open my eyes immediately. I swear to all the gods and entities exist or nonexistent in this world, I will never ever have kids for as long as i breathe. Fuck that shit. It's way too hard and too much of a responsibility. I don't think TP is ready for that. The fact that she thinks wiping the baby is easy is a red flag already. Bitch, taking care of a child is never easy. Wiping their butts is not easy, they constantly move around, you have to make sure you wiped from front to back, you need to carefully check if anything still stuck around the vaginal area if it's a girl. You have to check the diapers all the time if the baby is the quiet type or risk rashes and infections. If the baby is the sensitive type, lmao kiss goodbye to any sleep time. And that's just the diaper part. It's so triggering for me when people think taking care of a baby is "easy".

While there should be no laws dictating a woman’s reproductive choices, I absolutely am behind the idea that not everyone deserves to have children. Bad parents exist, and they often have a lot in common with Trisha. I can’t stand the idea that parents should 100% be applauded, or that everyone that wants a child automatically understands what that truly entails. In my experience, people that don’t want children have a better understanding of the responsibility involved than Trisha, who historically can’t even commit to a dog.
