Sometimes, you have to scare them into reality. Show them things that could happen without warning that could make them uninsurable. Major teminal illness.Or if they want insurance later and other illnesses arise that may allow coverage, show them the high monthly rates under those circumstances. That's why now is the "smartest time to buy because we can not predict the future". Wouldn't you agree? Prices for coverage will never go down but if you wait too long, they could go up. So can you see now why it makes sense to get protected now? Which amount would best fit your needs now, Mary?

I don't like your approach!!

@@soniavejar9498 It's true and IT WORKS! Sometimes YOU have to create urgency, or they will put off getting a policy forever and nobody wins. When they get coverage that they need will you feel bad? If you do, you need to find another line of business. Btw, I earn well over 100k per year. Have a nice day.

Hi Clyde, making more than $200,000 does not make it okay to scare clients into products that may not be in their best interest. Scaring is more like manipulating clients.
@clydeb7713
@clydeb7713 5 жыл бұрын
@@rajbeekie7124 You are showing them things that DO occur in life as fact. It is not manipulating Show me where the definition of manipulating is stating facts? When they tell you they can do this some other time at a later date you both will lose. If you can not learn to overcome objections (which is fear itself) you should not persue a career in sales, because you will be a statistic. 90% of insurance agents fail. They wanted protection or you wouldn't be in their house. You are justifying the reasons to NOT wait and get protected as soon as possible. The wrong product at that point would be something that YOU proposed.

Hi Tristan... Thanks for the very inspiring and informative videos. You are pumping me up! Here's a video idea on a topic I need some counsel. I have a hard time convincing some customers (many are higher income/net worth) that it is a good idea to put a simple whole life policy (25,000 or 50,000 DB) with a future guaranteed purchase option on their kids. I tell them the most important reason is that you are insuring their insurability as you never know what future needs could be, and that a whole life policy taken out at this age could very well be their most valuable asset at age 20, 30, or 60. It will give them options if they live, die, quit or become disabled. At the very least, it will provide a burial policy so that one doesn't need to write out a check for $10,000-$15,000 in today's dollars for final expenses. What angle do you use for this type of sale? Thanks in advance!

Is there anybody that's been in the business more than 3 years that doesn't already know what this guy just said. He might as well be a football coach saying we need to score touchdowns. But when we are on defense don't let the other team score. And don't forget to focus on blocking and tackling! Jeez !!
