As far as I'm concerned,Triumph had to be the most underrated band in the history of hard rock(even though they did have Pepsi Cola promote them for their Thunder Seven tour I believe it was.That's not an easy feat to get a big company like that to promote you!).They were a great band.Too bad they'll never get together for a reunion tour to end it on a good note.

This song almost paints a picture in motion in my head.. the best I can describe it goes like this, Its the 4th of july 1985, your watching your friends swing off a rope into a fresh lake at a lakeside cabin somewhere in upstate New York.. the atmosphere is a retro ambery yellow like looking an old photo and the sent of someone's bbq in the air, two cars in the driveway, Grand Prix and an old Bonneville and triumph plays over an old battery powered boombox.. evening sets in and fireflies fill the yards before you all gather in the car to head downtown for the fireworks display on a warm and gentle breeze night..

what song in particular does it sound like from boston
@randomonio5 жыл бұрын
not just a song, just sounds like it could be by boston if you weren't closely paying attention,
@SaintD3824 жыл бұрын
I get what the OP is saying: I could totally imagine Boston doing this song. Good call Ronald! If you really want to get into the minutiae, Boston was typically much smoother and tighter (both musically and especially vocally) than Triumph in general, and this song in particular. This is a great song -- maybe my favorite Triumph song -- but it's a little "rough" production-wise. Triumph didn't practice the same level of perfectionism, production-wise, as Tom Scholz of Boston. Nobody did! That's what Scholz was famous for: uber-perfectionism. (He once spent six years recording a single album, compared to the usual one or two for most bands.) As a result, Scholz's productions were super-polished. Brad Delp's harmonies were IMO the best rock harmonies ever: he had a rare gift. What would have been awesome would be to hear Boston do a cover of "Follow Your Heart"--Delp's harmonies would have been out of this world!

the reason the guy sounds like Brad Delp from Boston , it's the drummer singing not Rik Emmett who is the lead vocalist sometimes the drama sings this particular track the drummer is singing

Aaaah, that might indeed explain things. I was just thinking that it sounded like Scorpions...

Cool song but the structure sounds like Poison mixed with Boston. I like it.

I keep thinking Rush sings this...
@krisuntch81667 жыл бұрын
Its OK..a lot of people confused Rik Emmets and Geddy Lees voices and they were also a Canadian power trio. But the drummer sang this one except for the high You got to folliw your heart vocal
@ronaldross88867 жыл бұрын
Krysten55 You mean Boston right?
@Krysten557 жыл бұрын
Nope. I mean Rush, but I guess it can be mistook as Boston, too.
@ronaldross88867 жыл бұрын
If you cant hear Boston in this way more than Rush, you are deaf, no offense. He even sounds like Brad Delp of Boston on this.
@Krysten557 жыл бұрын
Hmm. I guess we can all hear in a different way. After all, that other commenter said that the two singers can get confused as each other.
@Retroscoop7 жыл бұрын
Too high pitched to be normal. I suspect these guys are from another planet or something. This sounds like the antipode of Barry White, as if someone hit the singer with a baseball bat there where it hurts the most, except of course our pride.
