Hello, Carlo love your video and seeing the Vegas strip. But can I make a suggestion for your header to change to Triumph Rocket 3 Vandemon Stealth Exhaust Sound, as this will be picked up by many more owners of Rocket 3? Thank you for the post love it.

I like the way you flipped the mirrors inward. The rocket 3 handle bars are already too wide. With the mirrors this way it makes the look a bit more compact and harmonious.

Are you a Vegas local? I am headed that way in early December and would love to see/hear that awesome setup in person. Was hoping to rent a couple rocket 3’s and take a run through red rock and similar but it doesn’t seem like anyone has any out there. If I finally buy one I’d really want that exhaust setup. So nice to have the stealthy option. Do you have any issues with emissions requirements or inspections? Did you have to do a software flash to tune it after install? Thanks

Hi Josh, Sorry for the late reply. It is kind of a rare bike out here. I know of three other Rocket 3 owners of this generation. There are no emissions requirements for motorcycles here. Vandemon states that this exhaust is not Euro 4 or 5 compliant. You must be overseas if you are concerned with emissions? No tuning is required, but I installed a Penner tune using Tune ECU shortly after filming this video. Come to Vegas and rent a Triumph bobber or something from Eurocycle Las Vegas. You will still have a blast!

No worries. This is probably not the ideal way to communicate with someone haha. Ok cool. Yeah, I’m actually in California so might as well be overseas with the emissions issues lol. I’ll definitely check out the tune you mentioned, thanks. Hopefully will be back in the spring sometime and would still love to hear it in person if that’s an option. Thanks for replying

Can you share your long-term experience with this exhaust? It would be great if you could shed some light on any drawbacks or problems you have encountered.

Hi, Long-term ownership has been great. The materials and design are very good, and have proven to be durable, so no drawbacks encountered thus far. I installed it with the help of a friend. Easy job. I mounted the switch away from the handlebars to keep the dash clean looking. If you look below the air cleaner cover near the rearmost point, you will see a place to mount the switch the way I did. Do your own thing though. The sound is good. Not as loud or as droning as the Competition Werkes, but still a mean sound. I am happy that the big girl has a proper sound to her now. You will enjoy it if you make the purchase. Cheers

I would appreciate it if you could address a few more of my queries. Is it EURO 6 compliant? Does it come with an installation guide or video? Is tuning necessary, and is it mandatory? Are there any challenges during installation? Any specific recommendations from your side? Thanks in advance!

@Rocket221rider it is not euro 6 or 5 compliant, and it states that in the installation manual. You can remove the old and install the new system while the bike is on the sidestand. It helps to work with a buddy to hold things in place. I installed the penner tune using Tune Ecu and a Bluetooth OBD module. I didn't do anything with the intake side of the motor. I didn't do any dyno tuning yet, but it seems to run fine anyway. The loud mode is terrific, and the quiet mode is quieter than the oem muffler, which is nice on the freeway. If you are in the UK, it may not pass the MOT, but in the US, we don't have those requirements, except in Commiefornia. It is expensive, but my rationale was that a world-class bike can have nice things on it. Make sure that the wiring doesn't touch the hot parts and that there is enough slack to accommodate the suspension travel. Ask again if you have further questions. Cheers

@Rocket221rider if you have the means, a reflash and dyno by a professional tuner may be worth it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7tjq6WEmuCxhmQ.htmlsi=su1UXYmUe1Z06Sj0 This is what I bought after reading some forums: www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-lx/

What windscreen are you using? The motorcycle sounds awesome. Is it tuned also?
@CarloBambino Жыл бұрын
Hey Rick, the screen looks good, but it is not much of an improvement over stock. It is GP KOMPOZIT from Romania bought on Amazon. This video was a test ride after I installed the exhaust myself. I loaded a tune using Tune ECU after this ride.
