What an absolutely brilliant machine this is.
A perfect all-rounder. Could it be even better?
How well the suspension is and how well the engine behaves. This feels more like a city bike than the Speed 400 and I will stand by it. Only drawback is the service network and Triumph has been working on that.

Yes! The double barrel has always been the best for single cylinders.

finally! was waiting for this one. good one as usual bro. also the brakes feel weird/weak compared to the speed is because of the non sintered brake pads on this one for better off-road suitability

Thanks a lot! Haven't posted in a while because of other commitments. I completely forgot to mention the non-sintered brake pads in this bike. Thanks for commenting on that. Although I did feel the front brake was quite messed up in this particular bike maybe due to the lack of maintenance. Thank you for pointing out on the Non-Sintered brake pads.

@@motorcrit yeah the brakes on this particular bike could've been off even more as test ride vehicles tend to be. the test ride bike I got here in Hyderabad had a bent handlebar and broken guards 💀

Yes, could be. The bike had already had a couple falls before it could complete 300 kilometres decently. Showrooms must start charging their customers for the damage they do and replace/fix the part immediately. The Speed 400 which I rode the other day was still missing a mirror when I went to ride this.

Thanks a lot! TBH getting a mic setup for the GoPro is quite expensive. I've put a Wind-muff on my GoPro to eliminate the wind noise. Since my voice isn't that clear, I've typed the captions myself so people don't need to scratch their heads figuring out what I said. I will try to edit audio as well from next time. Thanks for your suggestion.

Compare to Speed it doesn't have sintered brake pads to better suit for little offroading

What is the right height to drive this scrambler without problems?
@motorcrit
@motorcrit 8 ай бұрын
If you're above 5'8, it's manageable. If you're between 5'6 and 5'8 you should learn to control the bike with one foot on the ground all the time and learn how to maneuver the bike from scratch. If you're below 5'6, Speed is the one for you.

bro, rev like that when you are stoped waste more gas, also you dont need to use all the gears in the city, treat the bike wisely and it will last longer, peace
@motorcrit
@motorcrit 8 ай бұрын
Who said we don't need to use all gears in the city? I ride my bike regularly and I use the 6th gear frequently on my commute everyday which is within the city itself. It's a personal preference and it also depends on your riding style. The bike in frame is a test bike and it's not like I don't have to take care of it but it isn't my responsibility to put the petrol/ maintain it. My only responsibility is not to abuse the bike which I'm clearly not doing and not to crash the bike (Which some people have already done on this bike). I did not cross 3k rpm when I was "revving" the bike so I wouldn't harm the engine. It's not Gas, it's petrol. Liquid. :)

@@motorcrit What he is saying is true. The bikes should run at a certain min rpm to reduce engine stress and carbon buildup. You can watch fortnine video for information on the same.
@motorcrit
@motorcrit 6 ай бұрын
@@AnandA2155 I have watched the FortNine video and I know keeping the Revs high will keep the carbon deposit down because of the increase in temperature. What's the point of doing 6k RPM in 5th when you can just shift it to 6th quite easily? In my daily commute, I hit 100kmph twice and I really don't want to be doing that in any other gear other than 6th gear. So I feel it's alright to put 6th gear in those speeds. In the vlog, I put 6th gear just to see if it is tractable enough and what is the minimum speed for 6th gear.
