Triumph simp here, you will love the bike the speed and street triple handle beautifully for a nakedbike/ streetfighter. The bikes are really flickable until 60 mph and get really planted above 60 to handle fast and long corners💪🏼

As a fellow 08 Speed Triple owner, the headlights make the bike. Regardless of whether or not you keep or flip it, enjoy riding it. I've put almost 40k miles on mine and am thinking about buying another

I have had an R6, Superduke, a Panigale V2 that I still have, and a Vitpilen 401 I still have. My speed triple 1200 RR I ride is the best bike I have ever had by far!

I got two IVs in rn at the emergency room. Got a infection from a long term battle im fighting. Your content and others keeps me fighting and alive, it’s hard to sit here and think I’m gonna be here for this long. But with the vids times flying by 😁

Fantastic bikes. I have had 3 speed triples. On a 2022 1200rs. The headlights are controversial. I never understood people talking about the headlights while riding a Yamaha MT.

Headlights are the best part of it. It's iconic look like 911 Porsche. With any other headlight it looks like any other crashed and fairing removed bike. The twin light look is actually a style they did to diy streetfigters in england during 90's.

I have the last year of the lights! 2010 John Bloor edition. It will never leave my stable. Did powder-coat them black. Took all the chrome and silver off! Love it!

Sweet bike! I considered that bike at one point. I was looking at putting a V-Rod headlight on it and clip ons. Can’t beat the price and quality for what you got into it.

This bike is awesome. I had like 20 bikes s1000rr, ducati v4, rsv4, etc etc. For some reason the speed 1050 is always my “most fun to the dollar” bike to go to. I had 3 already, building my fourth now lol

I had a 2011 Triple 1050. That was the first year of the chassis package. Loved that bike.

I got an 02 triumph speed four and at first I saw the speed triples and hated the look of the headlight but then I got my speed four and I fell in love with triumph and the dual headlight. It’s an absolute dream to ride! And I now think the dual headlights are bad ass

Oh man. Great choice. I feel like the speed triple isn’t on anyone’s radar until they ride one. I have a 2013 Speed Triple R and it’s the best handling bike I’ve ever owned. I did ditch the headlight for the motodemic single headlight unit and it’s a fantastic bit of kit.

For as hard as your simping on my bike, Im a lil bummed that you can’t appreciate the classic bug eyed head lights. My 06 has two big LED array replacements that look stock until I hit the brights then they blind oncoming semis w the brightest beams you can imagine. Seriously Ive never driven a cage w brighter headlights. Its super confidence inspiring when riding at night. I might buy other bikes in my life but Ill never sell my Speedy.

Myself I took a break for about 14 years. I decided about 14 years ago to get another bike, I bought a triple 955i what a bike that was. Now I've got a triple what I bought from new in 17, A 1050s unbelievable that bike is. I love triumph always have done past and present.

That bike and the Thruxton RS are two bike I would love to own.

2011 speed tripple is one of my dream bikes

I bought a 06 speed triple low miles for 4G. It has the Arrow lowboy, sergeant seat, racetech suspension, aftermarket stator, and aftermarket handle bar. I don’t know of any other bike that you can get so much bang for your buck. Not a single scratch on the thing and rides like a dream. My friends all love riding it and there bikes cost 2 -3 times as much. There’s something special about the 1050.

I personally don't like triumph but I feel I'm allowed to because I'm british and these are everywhere over here. For me its italian or german, austrian bikes all the way. Just my opinion tho - dont mean to hate - ride what you want and enjoy it!👍

Got a 2006 17k miles black gold, w shorty fire shooter. I love it, tho I love 200mph bike cause cruise 100 commute is a must this is the only naked I love.

My dad had a 2006 speed. He sold it within a few months tho. He and I much prefer the benelli tornado triple over these. I don't think you guys have them over there in the states but I think they are the best looking sports bikes ever made!

Another thing I look for is, if they have a stock fender on their bike, good chances they follow traffic laws and probably never beat the bike up.

This is like saying that the round headlights on older Porsche 911s are "ugly"... I have a Speed Triple 2011 Special Edition and they are the highlight of the bike!

Everything you said about the handling of this bike, literally everybody has said (this isn't me being rude) my point is that the handling of the triumph is it's unique selling point. Any time someone says triumph the next few words are nimble and handles soo well. And your mini review further extends this for 3 reasons. 1 you bought it with your own money and it's not brand new. And 2 you've never been the one to blow smoke up manufacturers butt's. And 3rd You're from the U.S soo you're not being patriotic. (im aware that this bike isn't mostly manufactured in the UK. I believe it's done in Thailand and Brazil also. So thanks Adobo
