Some video of the CCTV footage of my crash on 7 July 2019 when someone decided to do a right turn without checking it was safe to do so - a "SMIDSY" - and then carried on driving until he'd run me over with the front and back wheels.
I was riding at the 40mph speed limit at the time (with proof) and you can see I tried to brake to avoid him. It's a pity he didn't take any care before turning.
My Apple Watch suggest my heart stopped for a while and the eye-witnesses generally said they thought I was dead.
I received life-changing injuries including amputation of two fingers, broken jaw in three places (when he ran over my head - thanks Arai!), fractured larynx, pelvis broken in two places requiring pinning and fixing band (later removed under surgery), fractured vertebrae (C6 & C7 spinous process (neck/spine) and left L4 & L5 transverse process fractures (lower back/spine), left hand fourth and fifth metacarpals broken and finally some BPPV for good measure.
