I wish I could give you a hundred thumbs up - great review. I’ve got a farkled up DR 650 and an Indian Roadmaster. I’m 65 and the wife doesn’t ride with me anymore, so it’s time for the Roadmaster to go. I may ditch the old DR for something smaller, too, for dedicated off-road riding. I did a test ride on a ‘23 Tiger Rally Pro this morning because the dealer did not have their ‘24 ready to ride. I did not like the ‘23 on the highway - way too much vibration coming through the bars at 75-80 mph, which is highway cruising speed here in Texas. I’m very glad to hear the rubber mounted bars are damping the highway vibes. The ‘24 will be ready Tuesday, so we’ll see. Good luck on the TAT! 😃

Congrats on the new bike. VERY sanitary build from top to bottom...well done mate. I have demo'd one and it's my next for sure. Will look up your racks. They look "sano" and simple to remove. Maybe do a little vid on the mounting brackets (and info) of the Zumo and WBL ?...or links ? Many thanks in advance. You mentioned doing a vid showing those but maybe that is coming. Have a great trip, sounds incredible.

Great video, thank you! I am a happy owner of the same model and I love it! I tried more than 13 bikes and ended up with buying Tiger Rally Pro 2024 cause it checked ✔️ all my boxes. Still learning the bike while approaching to 1000 km service.

I did the western half of the TAT on a crf300l rally, and I think the Tiger will be fantastic for you. I think people tend to overstate the level of offroad difficulty, and I found that a bigger bike would have been significantly better for my trip. Sometimes you just get diverted from the TAT, and even just a couple hours on a smaller bike on the highway can be rough. I envied every other bigger bike the whole time 😅 Oregon is pretty phenomenal, especially for a bike like this. For the vast majority of the western half, it’s fairly wide and sometimes even well graded forest service roads. I was disappointed, quite frankly. Would have been significantly better on a T7 or Tiger. Type 2 fun for sure 😅

Yes. Stock Mirrors. I have a set of Double Take to replace them but they are so good, I haven't yet.

Great bike! Nice content. Too bad Triumph didn't kit the 900 Pro the same as the 1200. I would pay for a 900 Pro with the 1200 goodies no problem. I like the 900 better, but I want the 1200 Pro good stuff.

is there a big difference in riding experience between the 20-23 Rally and the 24 Rally? The local dealer has an almost new 23 rally (not pro) that I can pick up for less than 11k out the door with all the crash bars and pannier racks.

Not enough difference to justify 8k more in my opinion. Little more vibration in bars and slightly less HP.

can you tell me more on how you mounted the Garmin?

Yes. I went to Evo Tech Performance, (evotech-performance.com/pages/triumph-motorcycle-parts) and purchased two mounts. Evotech Peak Design Sat Nav Mount and the Evotech Garmin Handlebar Clamp Sat Nav Mount . They have been out of stock with the Garmin mount so I used the Garmin mount from the Handlebar Clamp and replaced the Peak Design component on the windshield mount. I custom made a mount for my Amazon LBW Apple Car Play set up. I also used the Healtech Thunderbox for the electronics. www.healtech-electronics.com/products/tb/
