Never heard of this game show until I was watching it one night at Midnight on GSN, and then I stayed up every night and watch it.

Jason Parker I remember watching this on ABC right before Family Feud and it was a good show before they changed the format

The 1st round of this game made it over to BOOM on FOX, except cut right answers instead of cut wrong answers "kinda like 101 ways to leave a game show".

Gene Wood was the announcer for the first two weeks, Charlie O'Donnell for the third week, and Bob Hilton for the rest of the series (and the pilot episode).

@@mitchellries256 probably (since Hilton did the pilot) Bob Hilton was probably obligated to do other game show work during the time this episode was taped (it was 1984) and he couldnt start Trivia Trap as it's "permanent" announcer until about a month into its half a year run. From what I understand, as a game show announcer you sometimes have to get your own sub which could explain why Charlie O donnell was doing this episode (he rarely did Goodson work) where Gene Wood did tons of Goodson game shows (Family Feud, Card Sahrks etc) by this time.

@John Williamson correct! He was in the midst of doing Jokers Wild & Tic Tac Dough by this time. He'd sign a contract with Chuck Barris around '86 or '87 after those two shows where pulled.

The format was okay, but it didn't stand much of a chance competing in the same time slot as "The Price is Right" and "Wheel of Fortune". It seemed like anything ABC put in that slot was short-lived going up against those two.

Yeah. That ABC show is on Buzzr, & also a CBS show "Card Sharks".

This was a fun show, but the contestants were a lil bit ‘tarded. The college professor who didn’t know “Moby Dick”? 😕

This was just a boring show. Goodson was out of ideas by this point.
