Also how much can you actually play with it? Seems like a one and done sort of toy to me. After you get the stuffed animal out, what do you do with the super complicated lamp? It's going to run out of glycerin (or whatever that smoke is) eventually.

Toy sales and production are so fascinating to me, because it doesn't tell you what kids like. Kids will play with what they have. It shows what parents/guardians are interested in giving their kids, and what corporations think will sell. It's really interesting.

Agreed. I had a similar background to Trixie where you just don’t ask for certain things to keep mom from feeling bad. A lot of the desire for toys comes from FOMO for kids. Then once they actually have something they’re over it instantly. 🤣 Edited to add: come to think of it this is exactly how adults act too. Lmao

As a person who works with kids daily I honestly have to say I LOVE the way Trixie reviews toys. Consideration for how complicated the toy would be for the child to play with plus whether or not its cost effective for a parent who's struggling are two things I wish toy review channels would cover but usually don't.

Watching Trixie experience childlike wonder is heartwarming 💕 A lot of this is exactly the stuff I would've wanted as a kid, if I continued to love them after getting them however, that's another issue 😂 My parents were always running on a shoestring budget so thankfully they never spent too much on stuff like this.
