I’m not entirely sure about the idea of a merge of the grid (program world) and the real world. Part of what made the other two Tron films special was escaping from a normal world into a fantasy world. The grid has so much potential and is so much bigger than people realise! (this is something that Tron: Uprising builds really well)

@@boomstickcritique902Again, what are you on? Rinzler is Tron and Rinzler/Tron was one of the main characters along with Clu. Even seemed very, very, very important when he was kicked into that digital water and his colours turning from red/orange back to blue/white

Legacy and Uprising are some of my favorite movies and shows. I’ve wanted a Tron 3 for so long, but I’m a little nervous about this. It doesn’t seem to be connected to the first 2 movies since none of the actors are returning. And the rumored plot sounds weird. I want to see more of the grid, not the real world

Wasn't the entire point of the ending of Legacy to go into the real world? As for returning characters im guessing thats because Legacy flopped so this will be both sequel and stand alone entry. If this does well they will probally bring back more cast members in part 4 and I predict 1 or 2 old characters will probally cameo secretly.

@@dynaguy3 I think the idea of a program entering reality and learning about humanity could be an interesting idea dramatically but it might loose the flavor of Tron and feel more like an A.I scifi movie.

I think or believe Flynn and Tron will be in the next movie, alright. They'll bring them now with a prefect de-aging look as many viewers complained about the synthetic look back at 2010. They will return, but probably for a few scenes just for the older audience, like me. I'm guessing it will move in time, completing the series from start to finish, a wrap around the entire story. Oh, man, it's going to be radical. (Again!)

I mean, Leto was decent in bladerunner, but i see him more as a side character actor... not main cast.. hopefully he will put his big pants on and do this universe some justice guess we shall wait and see. I'm carefully hopeful with this one

He's a character actor he's great at transforming into roles but he's not a superstar he can't carry a property by name alone like say the Rock. But at the same time I don't think Tron is rocket science im sure he can pull the role off im more worried about the story then anything. Leto was fine acting wise in Morbius regardless of the films quailty so im more concerned about the direction of the story then anything.

Y'all gotta stop hatin' and putting all the blame on him " The Actor " who's simply just playing the part while " The Movie Studios " are the ones who have the power and control from behind, and its always them who decide to get into the editing room and cut alot of great scenes that alot of the times ends up ruining a film and the performences in it, and alot of times it's actually rare for a filmmaker to get his /or her director's cut released.( props to Zack Snyder for finally getting the SnyderCut released, all thanks to the fans ). So It's not Jared Leto's fault that every big movie studio keeps screwing over the chance for us to see how great of a performance he can really do because these greedy and nosey big money studios keep interfering by cutting his scenes in every movie he stars in, like every movie he's been in ( I guess thats just Hollywood for us all, they're money hungry bastards that don't give a damn about talent or a great performance ). examples " Suicide Squad, Blade Runner 2049, Morbius." Any of these movies could have given Jared Leto some great recognition in his film career, but thanks to all the studio interferences over the years , that is what has been ruining the chance for us to see what could be a great Jared Leto performance and because of that, it even ruined a lot of these films in the end. So quit blaming the actor, and start blaming the damn studios who keep interfering with these masterful projects. #releasetheayercut

Tron 3 Quora is somehow murdered by Dillinger Jr who figures out the Grid (Cillian Murphy), Sam returns to the grid for revenge to take him on to discover's Tron (played by deep fake Alan) is rebooted and alive in hiding for years. They team up and take on Dillinger & a new bad guy controlled by a new god like GRID AI BRAIN (who is actually Flynn after all these years - voiced by Bridges) bad guy played by Jared Leto. DAFT PUNK RETURNS WITH THE SOUNDTRACK & GETS BACK TOGETHER ...end of line

I have read about Leto, and yes, it was disgusting. Method acting is dangerous. But I believe he can start over. You know I saw Haunted Mansion, and he gave me chills as the hatbox ghost. Maybe he can have a clean slate with Disney. Remember RDJ didn’t start the same way he is now.

They screwed up by not making the sequel right away. Legacy was the best visual performance I saw in theatre that year. Disney doesn’t know how to market real movies. Should’ve been Touchstone. Movie could have made $1 billion with correct marketing. Now it’s too late. It’s like Zoolander 2. The cast of legacy had chemistry and a sequel would have gotten a lot more attention as the first one was so good. Missed opportunity
