We flew to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to experience the new ride Tron Lightcycle Run! Come with us as we experience the ride for the very first time, talk to some of the imagineers who helped bring it to life at the media event, show all the new merch coming alongside this attraction, experience the new innovative PhotoPass options, and come back later on the night for an ElecTRONica themed party with Mickey & Friends entering the grid with their own Tron costumes, before experiencing the attraction at night after the grand opening moment. We also will go to Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Hollywood Studios’ Toy Story Land to get a preview of the new Toy Story themed BBQ restaurant. Come with us on this adventure!

Some observations on why you are my favorite Disney channel: - the music you choose - the eye you have when filming, like the shot of the Tron canopy and then you panned down as Kitra turned around and smiled - your edits make me feel like I ride the monorail and got into the park with you…but it might have been 30 seconds of footage. You just put out such great quality content. It’s always so impressive.

So cool that Bruce Boxleitner (Alan Bradley/Tron) and Cindy Morgan (Lora/Yori) from the original 1982 movie "Tron" were there. This is the kind of stuff that most fans never get to see. Thankfully, Peter and Kitra always let us experience a little of the magic, too.

Road it 5 years ago in Shanghai, still one of the best rides ever. The theming is great, especially the glass that is opaque and then becomes transparent. The music the sound everything. Great stuff.

This was the ride that always made me want to go to Shanghai. I know a lot of people are underwhelmed but I honestly would love to ride this! And the Queue is crazy cool! This was such a great look at it all. Some of that merch is pretty insane too. Roundup Rodeo BBQ looks amazing, I agree DL needs a BBQ place. Great video =D

Glad you both enjoyed riding Tron. My husband and I have been fortunate to have been able to ride Tron three times, so far and liked it more each time. We even got to ride it in the front vehicle which was pretty cool. Living ten minutes from the Magic Kingdom makes it very easy for us to enjoy the parks that we love.

Oh my god, you guys are AWESOME! I have watched some of your videos, and you two know quite a few other Disney KZfaqrs I enjoy watching as well! You have some amazing access to talk with cast members and imagineers to get some great insight on Disney. Not to mention you both have wonderful personalities too! The merch is frickin AMAZING! I have to comment just to let you know how much I appreciate your content. I've seen lots of videos about the ride itself, but you worked really hard to talk about more than that. Even you speaking about the professional camera for the media events feels like a level that others overlook. And featuring the cast members who are presenting is awesome. Like, yeah, it's marketing, but these people have worked really hard on this and are excited and proud to share it with the world.

What a great experience you guys had. Was not expecting the private reveal of the merchandise. Really like the Flynns Arcade apparel, and Retro Tron super 7 figures the most. That's a pretty big deal, as the old lightcycle toys are very hard to come by. It would be great if they had some kind of retro tron night for lightcycle run, with alternate visuals.

I love yall!! We are in the same age range, so I love your appreciation of all things 80’s/early 90’s! I like Disney. I enjoyed going as a kid/teen, but I’m not a “mega fan”. Same with Star Wars. But I could watch y’all reviewing paint colors😂 You both stay true to yourselves, are honest and even though you get to see stuff early sometimes or get to experience extra’s sometimes as “media”, you guys are approaching the experiences as if you were a regular guest attending the park or attraction or whatever. This all looks amazing! It makes me so happy that Disney has invested in Tron as a property and I’m into so much of this. The party looked great, the characters in their Tron outfits looked incredible. And that merch looked completely next level. I can’t remember the last time I was blown away that much by the merchandising team. I loved the programmable toys and discs (and the backpack for the disc!) but as an OG Tron fan I gotta get me some of that Flynn’s gear!

Outstanding video. Your use of interviewing the people behind the attraction is the best I've ever seen a Vlogger do. Why? Well, first of all, because you could easily HEAR them. Second, you asked good questions and then let them give complete answers. Very well done. Btw, you GOTTA get those little figures that you can put your own face on. They look awesome.

Found this channel as I was looking through Disney ride POV‘s and now I can’t stop watching! This one was super cool too. Holy Justin Bieber! The personalized action figure thing is really cool, and I love how interactive everything was. I’m not one that would normally buy a lot of Disney merchandise, but those are definitely worth it

I love TRON SOOOOO MUCH! I was a late bloomer to the movies(yeah, I saw Tron: Legacy first, before watching the first one.), About the second I saw Sam enter the world of Tron, I was HOOKED! Seeing the ride got me SUPER EXCITED ...and I am a little nervous around Roller Coasters, LOL Seeing the merchandise, REALLY makes me wanna get on the next plane and fly to Disney World, RIGHT NOW! I wasn’t the biggest fan of Tron Legacy or the og film tbh. But when you take the IP with daft punk put it in the park it’s a great experience. I was such a fan of Electronica at DCA. The movies never really captured my interest either other than thinking the costumes were amazing and that I wanted to ride a light cycle. The soundtrack is also pretty awesome. But the wonderful thing about having so much variety in flims and other things is that there's something out there for everyone to enjoy and if you don't enjoy something that's completely fine

Another attraction/ride to put on my list for if I, by some miracle, am able to go to Disney World. I hope Disneyland gets one of these in the future. Plus, the custom figure, Identity Disc and backpack are so cool looking. Definitely adding those into my list of souvenirs for Disney visits.

I can't go on any rides as I will just black out but do like seeing them. The Tron ride looks like fun. I found out in Thorpe Park in the UK when I was young (40 years ago). They had a ride similar to the cup ride made me black out. It is the ride where what you sit in spins round plus the whole thing spins around like a merry go round but the platform also goes and up and down.

Thank you for discussing the motion sickness aspect. The New Tron ride from videos I been seeing seems incredibly awesome. I’m kind of skeptical myself about trying it because of motion sickness as well.

Definitely check out at least Tron Legacy. While it’s not a home run it has a lot of incredible aspects to it.

I went on a motorcycle type roller coaster with a similar setup at Dreamland theme park in Queensland, Australia. The ride attendants didn't explain how to sit properly and both my brother and I were locked in incorrectly. As soon as we hit the first corner it was extremely painful. We had difficulty walking around the rest of the day. So despite all the complaints, I think Disney has done a pretty great job with the ride configuration being accessible to everyone.

Ya know, I hope with his ride opening they revisit Tron... I loved Tron Legacy... and of all the times to do a movie about "The Grid" and it's influence on the real world (voting, information harvesting, screen time obsession, social media manipulation, use in conflict, etc) this would be it... looks fun - Thanks for sharing! Kitra's reaction to that magic phone screen was pause-inducing hilarity. You guys are so much fun. Love it.

Great vlog you guys look like you had so much fun. The Tron ride looks awesome. I also remember the Tron part on the people mover at Disneyland, it was the best part. I've been huge Tron fan ever since I saw the first movie as kid, I'm so happy Tron is getting some more representation in the parks. I wish Disneyland would redo Tomorrowland and add a Tron ride , or maybe bring back ElecTronica to DCA.

The interior is Space Mountain in Tron drag and the exterior quotes World's Fair architecture from the '60s and '70s, which I love!
