The scene at 2:05 might have been for what was supposed to be the 2 part finale. A few years back, one of the storyboard artists mentioned that the final episode was originally going to be TWO episodes, but due to either time constraints or perhaps the show not being continued, it was dropped and we just had 18 episodes, not 20. Ah I actually found the quote, I had saved it previously in a tumblr post of mine. Here's the exact words from the storyboard artist: "I directed storyboard and animatic for half of all episode on this series. It was so sad that it’s canceled while we were making for season Finale. We Stopped right at the moment of Big Uprising + Big War begins. Originally Episode 19 and 20 designed as the 1 hour special season finale, but in Episode 18, Tron says “the Up rising has just begun” and Clu coming into Argon city to wipe them out with thousands of his war ship, then it has become the last episode. I would been So Great if we could finnish at least the finale." So this scene looks a lot like something that sounds like a "Big War begins" kind of plot point... As much as I love Quorra though, I don't think I'd want her stealing Beck or Tron's spotlight. If she was around for a couple episodes, that'd be fine, but I wouldn't actually want her as a season regular.

"The business of perfection is unforgiving. I think you know mistakes can't be tolerated." this gave me chills. i really wish we got to see more of CLU in a second season.

And this is even more reason why Disney as a company frustrates me so much... They had three shows in the 2010s that were FANTASTIC: Motor City, Wander Over Yonder, and TRON: Uprising, and they all got the axe despite the creators having so many more stories they wanted to tell (At least for Wander and Uprising. I don't know about Motor City). And yet Disney thought it was a good idea to release... Ugh, Pickle and Peanut. Which started airing not long after Wander got the axe. Talk about going from a fancy buffet to dog poop. Seriously, why are so many companies nowadays afraid of telling good stories as opposed to keeping kids entertained? Not saying kids shouldn't be entertained, but they shouldn't be treated like idiots, either!

This just makes me think of what could have been. Tron 3 or maybe even Tron 4 could have included the best elements from uprising, legacy and the 82 movie to create one LEGENDARY story

Thank goodness there's someone else who sees how great Uprising was. I hope Disney goes through with Tron 3 (whether it's a Legacy sequel or Ares, probably the latter), although my only problem with it is Jared Leto as a main actor, his track record with fiction movies is not so good based Suicide Squad and Morbius. If it does happen then hopefully Joseph Trapanese can come back since Daft Punk is no more. Sucks that Disney only goes for Star Wars now, Tron is just a picture on a shelf to them.

I heard that A Disney Exec is going to Pitch for a Tron Animated movie so hopefully it’ll be inspired by this script and be an amazing tie in from Uprising to Legacy!!

Honestly, if trim stays tron uprising stays true to the original timeline it seems at the the end CLU is going to win, tron will get repurposed and beck will probably die along with the rebellion defeated. But I don’t Tron uprising was going to stay true to the original timeline and instead create its own. I mean at the end of season tron is back to his prime and it’s safe to say Flynn is alive and seeing the plans the directors had for season 2 and the movie I think they were going to do their own thing and maybe have the protagonist win. It would make sense considering some of the concepts from the 1980s Tron aren’t incorporated and Uprising has somewhat given a deeper exploration into the grid, like the cities and interworkings. Another reason tron uprising may not be cannon is because in legacy the city where clu resides is completely different from the one we see in uprising.

TRON as a franchise really deserves justice.. sure, it’s not as demanded as franchises like Star Wars or Marvel, so Disney doesn’t have much of an incentive to keep it going but man, Uprising was criminally underrated and you could tell the show was the type the get better and better each season. A shame..

I remember being a little kid being so upset by there not being a second season of Tron Uprising. I doubt we can get everything that could have been made. But at least one more season is all I want to ask for.

My daughter and I Love this show! We both want more seasons as well as movies and we want them NOW!

I watched all 19 episodes of Tron: Uprising in 2020 and it's a shame it lasted only 1 season. It was great, and better than most of the rubbish on TV today. It reminded me of The Mask of Zorro. Dark Angel and Batman Beyond. Good if it got a feature film sequel/conclusion like Serenity way back in 2005.

Personally I’d would really love to see this… I’m a huge TRON person & I’d rather se the movie & more episodes of TRON uprising.

The problem with Uprising is that it was doomed to fail from the beginning. It was in development alongside Legacy and was meant to continue the hype. Unfortunately, Legacy failed due to Disney not realizing the Tron market was nonexistent at the time, and people who saw Legacy weren't interested in seeing more from a lukewarm movie. Uprising failed because it had no target audience. The older generation familiar with the Tron market weren't interested in watching cartoons, while the younger generation had no idea what Tron was about. That and, like most amazing cartoons of its time, the toy market failed.
