In this episode we will see the installation of interchangeable extruders (Bowden/Direct) on a factory default hotend, of a TronXY X5S.
With this modification, we can chose the appropriate setup, according to the used filament.
When printing PLA or PETG we can go Bowden (nude clothing\lightweight)
When printing rubber filament, we can go Direct (winter clothing\heavy)
The stl files for the two 3D printed parts, are uploaded in my OneDrive: 1drv.ms/u/s!An...
I recommend the use of thread inserts in the mounting base, since it must withstand numerous karate kid, "Wax on / Wax off" procedures...

"direct bmg extruder & runout sensor (mirror) v3.stl" is for the *default* bmg extruder and "direct bmg extruder & runout sensor.stl" is for the *inverted one* . Print according to your preference. The "insert piece" is designed with 4mm holes, to accept M3 inserts for the screws.

Can this work with x5sa?

Greetings adrianleano6685, The x5sa has the same printhead mounting plate with x5s. So yes it can be mounted as is, onto an x5sa. With a few modifications it could be mounted anywhere, as far as you can tweak the motors supply voltage, the steps per mm, and the direction of the motor.
