Watching the entire Queen's Birthday Parade this evening was a once in a lifetime, GLORIOUS experience!! I love a parade and parades I saw...many, many of them! I had never seen a band on horses playing before, never seen such a magnificent display of perfection in every movement. The music was stirring and the feelings I received of all this wonderful, most spectacular display of LOVE for the GREAT QUEEN ELIZABETH 11!!! Thank you so very much YOU TUBE for bringing this to us in the USA!

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but Lady Louise is the Queen's youngest GRANDdaughter, not GREAT-granddaughter.

This one video epitomises everything that is good and true about Great Britain. I love being British and I love our Royal Family. The Queen has earned the real show of respect and affection in this video. 27:10 to 28:12 makes me so proud.

Apparently they were blanks. He was unable to get live rounds. I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed all your videos about The Royal Family. I have been in Canada for 35 years, and have been feeling homesick lately.

You will never get this kind of celebration and pomp other than in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, no other monarchy is this glamorous and republics cannot live up to the standard of royal celebration. When it come to this GB & NI win. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN AND MONARCHY!

The British Military Tradition is Fantasatic. We still remember & remain dear to our hearts ... former Colonial MRNVR (Singapore Division).

The intense, passionate love affair between the Crown, the Military and the People is heartwarming and reassuring. To those who oppose the monarchy, those men in the red coats and bearskin caps would like to have a word with you. The men wearing those shining beastplates and helmets on those big black horses might want to join in. I hope they're able to change your mind before you meet the Gurkhas. May God save Her Majesty & her successors, and God Bless America!

I am not affraid to say, I cried when I watched the 2 clips (Diamond Jubilee events and trooping the colour events). Cheers for the upload. QSTQ from Australia. Too bad Australia pretty much acts like a republic doing bugger all for the diamond jubilee except for a church service and the lighting of a bacon out the back of parliment house.

Couldn't disagree more. All of this state pageantry is so important on so many levels.. morale, tourism, national pride, and it's a chance for us and the Queen to recognize her wonderful soldiers for their selfless service overseas - and for the soldiers and us in turn to thank the Queen for hers.... there's so many reasons why stuff like this is good for the nation... not to mention what a bland boring world we'd have otherwise... honestly... more more more I say!

The North Koreans, Chinese and Russians all do bigger and better pageantry, although 'pomp' is distinctly British :P Definitely agree about the ramblings, though.

This absolutley stunning show of pomp and pageantry that only we here in UK can show is spoilt year after year with the inane ramblings and spouting of rubbish by the commentators

Like a president I presume. Do they come cheap? Have a word with the Yanks, every living ex-president has a full salary and 24/7 armed security - the Italians pay even more for their former heads of state. We don't do badly out of the Monarchy - a fair number in that crowd would have come over from the continent for the weekend simply to be part of it and spend money.

I would imagine the ensign (Lt. Codrington) got into trouble when he got back to the barracks...he didn't lower the Colors (at the end of the parade) for the National Anthem! Not good! ;-)

At least Prince Charles is now renaming the foreshore street at Lake Burley Griffin as Queen Elizabeth Terrace.
