If you're a true DragonBall fan you know Dragonball technically has few fillers because every episode was apart of gokus journey , they would throw in , him rescuing a village and meeting a new friend(s) here and there but mainly about goku getting stronger and finding "Gohans" 4 star ball. DB was so raw and taught you real life lessons. Probably my fav out of the franchise. I also wish the timelines were aligned better😅

Problem is filler is that although it's fun, not everyone wants to be confused on which is part of the story and which isn't. People even thought the movies were canon for a long time and it messed up the entire timeline. Shit I thought Garlick Jr. was canon because he was in the anime.

You watch OG Dragon Ball, then DBZ Kai. Then you watch like the first 2-3 episodes of DBS, then watch the *_Battle of Gods_* movie there might be a couple more DBS episodes to watch before watching the Resurrection of F movie but if not, then just go straight to the *_Resurrection of F_* movie. Then you pick back up with DBS with the U7 vs U6 saga and just continue with it until it’s completed. (There’s some filler to skip in DBS but there’s also a few pretty good DBS filler episodes I’d highly recommend) So now once you’ve officially finish DBS, you watch the *_Dragon Ball Super: Broly_* movie and then finally the *_Dragon Ball Super: Superhero_* movie. Once you’ve officially finished with all of that, then congratulations! You’re now officially finished with the main material of *_”Dragon Ball”!_* Also I’d recommend watching DBZA at some point, maybe either before DBS or after it… also recommend you check out the DBZ movies at some point too but they’re optional. (Don’t watch Bio-Broly though) Then you’re pretty much done! (And yes, you *ABSOLUTELY* avoid both Dragon Ball GT & Dragon Ball Hero’s!)

It is not a gem, that’s just people coping, only thing the show has is SS4, which is slightly overhyped on top of that. It was a try to recreate a sort of OG Dragon Ball story, just failed, then had some decent scenes and that’s it.

Some of my favorite episodes of Z are filler, the friendly giant, the dinosaurs in city, when bulma and crew meet those kids on the way to Namek. Fake namek is another good one

I watched GT years before Super came out and yea, while it has some decent scenes, I wouldn’t rly recommend it. Just go straight to Super after Z Kai and movies. If you’re like me who just wanted to see more of Goku tho or any of other characters, go ahead and watch it. You might still enjoy it. I did, but yea, I do know it’s not for everyone.

If I have a kid when I'm older, Dragon ball, SpongeBob, Ben 10, Regular Show, Adventure Time, the Simpsons and OG Teen Titans is what they're gonna be watching. So someday they can look back and remember the great experiences they had, and hopefully pass it on to their own.

I don't care what the fan boys say about the old movies weather they are cannon or not but u need to watch the bardock father of goku movie after watching the frieza saga. It's really interesting if your interested in the sayans history and what gokus father was like, also has some of the best combat animation I've ever seen in all of dragon ball. Fight me

If you arent gonna watch the fillers, why watch Dragon Ball at all? The fillers are basically just more to watch. Why watch anime if you arent gonna enjoy all of it? To look cool? To be able to say "I watched all of Dragon Ball"? Seriously.. I totally reccomend watching the fillers. They are parts of Goku's journey so you can feel more attached to him. If you still think the fillers are a waste of time, at least think about it. WHY are you watching Dragon Ball?

Watch: dragon ball Z for the fun and content Watch: dbz Kai for the important stuff Watch movies that match certain archs if you dont want to wait 15 episodes for one to be finished Or watch the episode verisons, there is a lot. But mainly Dragon ball + some movies Dragon ball Z/Z kai + a lot of movies Dbs + movies And then your basically good because after that point the story and plot starts disintegrating. Side note: watching the filler is better if you really wanna get to know the characters. There are some good and some bad, but really the ones that focus on goku are good. (One of my favorite is when goku trouble controlling his ki and needed to rest)

People are so obsessed with skipping filler nowadays. Like just read the manga then if you need a whole guide to enjoy the show. The bad parts of filler aren't even the "filler episodes" it's the parts when they insert stuff inbetween fights to drag stuff out, like characters reacting to the fight, which you can't skip unless you're going to fast foward or something.
