I was on it like 9-10 years ago, because I thought it would be awesome to be able to script things and build cool machines in a world you could walk around in while you were scripting it and with other people also walking around and seeing you do it (and it kind of was) but it was a crappy, tacky, desolate nightmare of a stripmall/BDSM dungeon back then too it has been cruddy and outdated for over a decade I think, yet it still somehow exists Second Life's inexplicable ability to continue making money is a minor wonder of the world

gothsk8r SecondLife is definitely a surreal game. Lots of people take their gaming lives pretty seriously but there’s something about SecondLife attracts the strangest and most obsessive people. It’s especially weird since a lot of players don’t even really play other video games...just SecondLife.

@tuiolo It means it feels like when you have a fever and are dreaming and you don't really know what is a dream and what's real and you're just super disoriented. I found that I normally only have them when I have a super high temperature.
