They don't look salty, they look bored more than anything. Many forget these Idols grew up idolizing Michael Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears etc. International pops acts have had far sexier performances for decades now. It's risky to do as it could kill your career in South Korea, but it isn't anything new or shocking to people who literally spent years dancing, singing and training performing covers of pop acts who made their entire careers based off sex appeal.
