I'm having a heck of a time with my custom built Evo with the dynatec in it and I can't figure it out I have a ticket I don't have any spark out of the coil but I test the coil and oil seems to be testing all right

If you put points in a evo and one wire coming off of points goes to coil , well there is 3 spots on coil I'm not sure how to hook up wires, thanks

You would either need a dual fire coil that only has two posts. One gets the wire from the points and one gets 12vdc power. The other option is duel points (two wires) and a single fire coil that has 3 posts. Center post gets 12vdc power and one points wire to each post. I hope this helps. Hey, bought the same coil you have in the video. Out of the box no resistance on the secondary side. I'm guessing its bad?

Assuming that the meter your checking it with his good, then your coil would be bad if I didn’t have any resistance.

What if u have 29.8k on secondary side?

Sounds high but it world depends on what bike it came off of. It would best to check the manual if you have one.

@@Rapsgarage manual shows 11,250 to 13,750 and it is 91 electraglide and it is the exact coil u have in the video..... it just died on me n the will start back about an hour later
